my gearbox went bang few days ago.. i have managed to source one local... but now its finding sum1 local (ish) to fit it for a decent price... any help or advice would be appreciated...

It's time to make a start to try and arrange regular meetings, weve been a bit lax north of the border in the past, time to make amends. To be fair to everyone rather than just going ahead and setting meeting dates and locations. I thought I'd put it to a discussion first, that way we can arrange things to suit the majority and possibly work in a couple of gatherings to help out those who live further away or work different hours. Hi Its the turn of clarkmagpie (Nick) to pick a venue for August's meet and he couldnt have picked a better place than this. Hartside Top is the highest cafe in England at 1904ft above sea level. The cafe itself is located 17 miles from Penrith so its kinda slap bang in the middle of North/NW and NE regions. Hi All Yes I know August is a long way off at the moment, but I need to get something sorted for this one. As some of the Midlands members know, I have recently started a new job with Launde Abbey, which is a charitable trust. Every year a the fund raising group, called the Friends of Launde Abbey, hold a series of open days over the August Bank Holiday weekend to try and raise some much needed funds. We have been invited to attend the open day on the Monday which is the Bank Holiday Monday and show upto 6 of our cars during the day.
