Now i know this isnt a thread to arrange a meet, but as its mainly going to concern those who live in the south, i think its best suited to this sub forum. Im still looking for the right car, but havent come across anything that catches my eye. But what i was wondering, as ive been out of the zed game for some time, when it comes to the garages/workshops, which of the specialists have maintained there good reputation for good work, or have recently appeared in the zed/jap specialist market are proving to provide quality service? On the other hand, who has gone down hill, or completely dissappeared? This isn't ment to be a thread for people to make the…

Hi guys, I know I've posted about this problem in the advice section but wanted to see if there is anyone local that is able to help/advise: Basically I've got a code 45: Injector leak problem but have no idea how to fix it! Is there anyone local to Reading that might be able to lend a hand or suggest a good garage that isn't going to rip my arms off?? Thanks in advance!!

I am away for the Plymouth meet but weather looks cracking for our area this Sunday (21 Oct) so anyone up for a mini Zed meet? 1100 at the Hells Mouth Cafe (coast road between Hayle and Portreath) for a late breakfast and then a drive through some of the local towns. This is not an all day affair - just a couple of hours. Attendance confirmed is: Shelton Mickeybigzed PS. If the Cafe is closed (winter season??) then we will still meet there and go somewhere else for breakfast (Smokey Joes?)

what's the best irl forum for jap cars? The last one i joined (octane.ie or somehting) started off well but then found a crowd of egomaniac know-alls so i don't bother. (and none of the "you should've fit right in" either ) lol.

As theres already a joint meet with the NE & NW regions this month, and more importantly Ive left it too late to arrange anything this month, I suggest the next Scottish meet be held on the night of 18 October (a Thursday night to try and vary the days and times meets are held) looking at the spread of members I'm thinking that the meet be held around the Livingston area as its pretty central and handy for most of the Central Belt. I'll try and sus out a suitable location. nothings set in stone as yet, so any suggestions for alternatives are welcome Robert

Hi my 300zx has developed a problem when the car eventually starts it runs for around 20 minutes hen jus cuts out( like the ignition has been turned off) the weird thing is no management light comes on, so im guessing that its a problem with a sensor like the air flow meter, map sensor etc and it appears the problem occurs when the engine is warm, so i was wondering if any one knows of any common problems or a way in which i can diagnose the fault as im guessing no fault codes will be generated as the management light doesn’t come on, any help would be greatly appriciated. Do any of you in Cornwall have experience of propshaft vibration or anything else that could cause a vibration from 30 to around 80mph on a manual 2+2 non turbo. Have tried a brand new powertrain prop but still a vibration, changed the gearbox mount, had the tyres balanced twice to no avail. Next thing may be to swop the wheels and tyres if anybody has a set I could use ? Any suggestions welcome.
