Just a quick note to the Midlands Membes to apologise for not having organised any meets for this year, as some of you already know, I was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (Stage 3) at the end of last year and am just about coping with the effects of that, by the time I have done a full days work, I am too knackered to do anything else. Also, Jay (Z Evo Guy) is still in prison and his review is immenient, so keep fingers crossed, so that has been taking up quite a lot of my time as well. So could I ask Slick, Bantam and Dave if you would be kind enough to organise something for the Mids lads and lasses until I find my feet again. Once again apologies to you …

WOW, what a meet and turn out. 12 Zeds, far more than I expected. I would like to thank ALL those who came. it was really nice to see some familure faces and meet some new ones. There will be a meet in the Visitors Centre car park at the top of Sutton Bank on Sunday 9th March at 11.30. Sutton Bank Visitors Centre Sutton Bank is on the A170(Scarborough Road) about 5 miles out of Thirsk, and about 13 miles from Helmsley. The veiws are spectacular, and the roads were made for Zeds. If you are travelling North, travel A1 - A168 - Take the Thirsk exit - pick up signs for A170 (Scarborough). If you are travelling South, travel A19 South - Take the Thirsk exit - pick up signs for A170 (Scarborough). Just a quick one really. I think its time to step down as REO for South Central. I’ve got about as much motivation as a slug due to personal issues and am not doing anyone else any favours. South Central are a great bunch – we’ve had some fantastic meets over the last couple of months (thanks mainly to the members for making an effort). Think its time to let go and let someone else have a go at keeping the South Centrals reputation where it is, before I wreck it. I really am sorry guys. I just don’t want to let you down anymore than I am right now. Hopefully someone steps up – if not I’ll keep at it and do my best until we get a volunte…

Just in case anyone is interested... www.midlandsbreakfastclub.co.uk went to the Midlands Breakfast Club meet last month and it was excellent, lots of different cars from Ferraris to golfs and a great atmosphere, plus you get free entry to the aircraft museum! Would be good to see a few more Zeds there.

I asked about club days while I was getting my Z setup again today and thought I would gauge interest and get a date selected in the spring time. Power runs are normally £56 + vat For 10 or more cars its £40 incl vat (if i remember right, can check) If we get 15 + its £35 They normally operate club days on Saturday mornings and the rolling road bay door will be open for viewing etc. The great thing about Noble motorsport is that they have loads of experience with 3lr v6 turbo engines as that is what the Noble cars run. They have tuned a 300zx to 570hp previously with success. Payment will need to be made to them two weeks before the day in on…
