Events - UK

  1. Started by Slick Pete.,

I missed going last year as I was too late to book any track time. Just booked now for this year. Tracktime slot E at 10.20 (intermediate) Tracktime slot N at 13.20. (novice) as no suitable intermed slots left. One of the biggest and best car gatherings in the Uk(IMO) I like the venue and the track is great fun to drive. Its fast, wide and safe and not too technically demanding Im always hopeful someone will come out to play on track with me..:whistling: So if you are actually going and are/have booked then post up here.... Normally the response on 300ZX club is poor and few cars attend. Fine..... Ill go on my own Please …

  2. Started by ianl,

1st october goodwood I got my site access pass Who else is going?

  3. Im going to santa pod for the last weekend of the month, rwyb Sat, show on Sunday and I'm possibly taking part in the barrel sprint(haven't decided depends on the zed behaviour) If anyones about, come do a few 1/4 mile runs

  4. I have been watching the weather for Wigan all week before deciding to make the longish trip up tomorro to have a play. This will be my first visit this year as the track was shut for a while earlier in the year due to "financial difficulties." Its unusual to find another 300 there but thats fine with me there will be plenty of other track minded cars and owners there. Event hosted/featured as follows.................................. Saturday 12th August - 'Track Attack Featuring 2Rude2Cruise' - Public can take their road legal cars on track from 10 am, please bring your licence on the day and MOT for the car, full face helmets for hire if you don't have…

Got a suggestion for sat if people still want to meet, Corbeau seats are having an open day in Hastings that afternoon, My idea is starting at clacket Lane on m25, head down the a21 towards Hastings stop for photos somewhere in high weald maybe bewl water (looks nice) then continue down to Hastings, Or if people prefer there's Bodiam castle just before Hastings, or even find somewhere on the seafront What do people think any ideas suggestions,

  6. Hi all, just noticed this free event on Southend seafront. Seems to have a good following, now in 4th year. I have emailed the organisers to see if clubs are allowed. I have asked for 12 spaces provisionally. Want to see how much interest there is on here. Feel free to jump in. As this will likely be the last local show of the year. Paul

  7. Started by craig,

It will soon be time to apply for Club Stand allocation for JAE 2017, and I will be attending the Club Reps meeting in March to see what is happening this year. The prices are still the same as last year, at £45 for 4 day event with camping, or you can obtain a £20 day pass on the Saturday. However, the day pass will not allow you to bring your car to the club stand, according to the current details in the JAE news. http://www.japcarclub.org/index.php/jae-news Thought we should start some discussion off rather than a poll to start with. Should we request a stand, and will anybody be attending if we are allocated space?

  8. I have been emailed about this event again, on 3rd September this year. Apart from being a bit chilly last year, I enjoyed this local show. It clashes with JAE, although that doesn't seem to have much interest again this year.... Register your interest here and I will send off requesting for 10-15 cars I think.

  9. Started by Harby300,

Setting up a meet to get the recent members in touch with the old folk.. :-). Looking at the 10th September, meet at Seaton Carew, time to be arranged. Kids welcome as I'm going for an ice cream.. :-) Who's coming...

Sorry guys not been very proactive with the Reo thing, it's hard to get motivated when I can't drive my zed, But do people want me to organise a meet at some point? Any suggestions?ideas?, I'll see about making it happen.

  11. This is a weekend event with camping available, located in Ramsey, Cambs. http://www.activeshows.co.uk/events/germanvsjap I have 8 tickets available, let me know if you want one. I plan to visit Saturday, undecided for Sunday as it clashes with LA Autos BBQ.

Sunday the 5th of August at the DeLorean Site/Montupet Dunmurray. A static car show plus the chance to drive your car around the mythical DeLorean test track. Very seldom is this test track open to the public but for this show it will be in use. £10 entry fee plus £10 if you want to drive your car on track. In aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. https://www.automanic.co.uk/back-to-the-factory

  20. Started by Catman,

Sorry to be a pain, but for logistics, my Z is going to be in Wales shortly until next year. Would be pleased to attend a lunch with Alic, but prob not the drive as we won't have a Z on the road. So ideal if the convoy ends in the vicinity of junction 6 of the M25. Botley Farmhouse as suggested by Andrew would be great. If most wish to meet on the coast, no worries, but I might give it a miss.

  22. UPDATE 6-Jul-17: Please find attached the Venue Info details for accessing the museum and their requirements for our using it. UPDATE 26-Jan-17: Gary has managed to secure us a room at the Coventry Transport Museum, which means the club can now host lunch and the AGM in the same way as we did last year, although a different room (currently). This means that those of us that meet at the pub on Saturday can move straight onto the drink and banter on arrival, and food in the evening, without having to worry about slurring our way through the AGM :) --------- After much calling round, wrangling of dates, discussing of venues, we have settled on the Annu…

Is there a thread for the Beaulieu show at the end of July? I can't seem to find it. As spoken about yesterday at the AGM I'd be interested in coming along as I've managed to secure the time off. Cheers in advance chaps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
