So I have had this idea kicking around for a while, ideally over a week in June for my birthday. It would be a John O' Groats to Lands End road trip, but visiting the REOs and members along the way. Each section of the route would be planned by different people i.e a northern Scottish owner would know the local roads and plan A to B for us, then a southern Scottish owner would plan B to C and so on working our way down the country. The fun would be that some people would do the whole trip, while others that couldn't would join us for a day/morning/afternoon drive. We could have lunches along the route at places to have "mini meets". We would stay in hotels along the…

Anyone interested? Looks like a big show, I’ve bought a ‘show car ticket’ already. Not sure if they’re expecting super cars only for that but or not but I’ve told them I’m bringing my Zed so will see if they refund my ticket or not ?

The BHP show is being held at Lydden Hill race track in Kent next year. More information can be found here: https://bhpshows.com/pages/bhp-performance-show We are going to apply for a club stand, so when that is done, we can all buy our tickets on their website by choosing our club name in the drop down box. The organisers will then make sure you are parked on the club stand. When registration is complete, Ill let you all know on this page when to start buying tickets. I think its about £15 per person. The show also offers track time. It is £600 per 15 minute slot with a maximum of 24 cars on track. We are currently looking into this and if there is enough …

Its started to get to that time of year again, Zeds will come out of hibenation, car covers will be removed and paint will gleam! Im planning the first south area meeting of 2022 and as we didnt manage to do this route last year, I've dug it out of the mental filing cabinet and dusted it off! The route would be Folkestone in Kent to the Ashdown Forest in East Sussex. The route takes in some A roads and B roads. The route is 72 miles and should take around 2.5 hours with a short stop at Dungeness. Ashdown Forest is very nice and great for a picnic, walks and photos. We will meet at the Harbour Arm car park in folkestone at 10:00 with the aim to get away by 10:30…

Free tickets have just gone on "sale". However I have applied for a club stand of 8 cars. Magnificent Motors is a great show held in Eastbourne, East Sussex. It's completely free, so book early. For people interested, this is the bank holiday weekend and it's the Saturday and Sunday before the BHP show at Lydden on the Monday. So if you live far away, book a hotel room for a couple of nights in Eastbourne to do the Magnificent Motors show and then we can all head over to Lydden for the BHP show! Three days of car shows! Two of which are free...bargain! https://www.visiteastbourne.com/magnificent-motors

Hi All, I am currently considering buying 300zx ideally TT Manual. Always liked them but never actually driven one. If anyone is in the London area and fancies meeting up and giving me a gi in theirs, I can bring my 200sx s14a and let you have a go in that. To give you some re-assurance, I am 42 years old and have been on SXOC for nearly 20 years. As well as the 200sx I have a mr2 roadster turbo and a civic type r. Not a little boy racer by any means. The Goodwood Breakfast Club is hosting the 90s on 7 November. Seems like the perfect opportunity to show the Z32s off (weather permitting!). I'm not sure if I'm able to go yet but thought it would be of interest to the others on here. I took my old Zed about 12yrs ago and even managed to park the car on the start/finish straight where it go a lot of attention! Was an early but fun morning out and I'd be keen on going again. https://www.goodwood.com/motorsport/breakfast-club/

Hey all I couldn't find a thread for this event surprisingly so thought I'd create one. Is anyone already registered as going? Will there be a club stand this year? I'm still Zedless but quite keen to attend. My last meet with my old 300zx was the same event in 2016 and I remember it fondly! Would be great to see some of the current club stock! This is a plan to meetup en route to the Simply Japanese event. We will be starting at Polegate Cophall roundabout petrol station at 05:30 and using the A27/M27 corridor to go to the Tesco in Applemore on the edge of the New Forest. This has a large car park to meet more members of the club coming from other parts of the country, it also has a petrol station. The store won't be open as its a sunday so no need to worry about parking. In recent years other clubs have started to use this as a meeting point; the supra club, the subaru, the 350Z club to name but a few. It ends up being a small mini car meet before we drive over to Beaulieu in convoy. The drive is two…

I am hoping to organise a meet and drive on the 30th May. The route would be Cheddar in Somerset to Seaton, Devon. The route takes in some A roads and B roads. The route is 60 miles and should take around 2 hours. Seaton has a beach and various attractions including the tramway and Pecorama in the next village Beer. We can have a picnic on the beach at Seaton, or if people want tickets for Pecorama, we can visit there. If people met in Cliff Street car park at 10am in Cheddar, with the aim to leave around 10:30am, we should arrive at the beach around 12:30(ish), just in time for lunch. Please let me know if you can come, it would be a great way to meet peop…
