As a previous participant (me 300zx_666) we thought you would like to know about next years PEAK RUN, for classic cars of all makes, which is being held on Sunday 22nd June 2014. In 2013 we once again saw increasing numbers of "RUNNERS" who join us for the whole weekend, so as a result we have reserved the camping field at the Peak Gateway campsite near Ashbourne, which will allow us to spread out. We will enjoy the use of all facilities with exclusive use of the entertainment suite for both Friday and Saturday evening's entertainment. The campsite will be open from 3pm on Thursday 19th June for those wishing to arrive early, and close at noon on Monday 23rd Ju…

Don't suppose anyone anywhere near Reading/London has a wheel nut I could borrow ? Closer the better ! My dad took the car out, and managed to lose one (dont ask!) and Driftworks apparently don't know the meaning of Next Day Delivery !

Quick update for LakeZ 2014. Saturday night entertainment is confirmed as follows: Opening support: Pink as Floyd (Tribute band) Main act: Midge Ure! We think we've pulled off something a bit special getting a 80's legend to play our small car event. I hope you all agree. I'm gonna start a list over on the main thread soon, as we will need to have pretty accurate attendance numbers so we know if the Town Hall is gonna be big enough!

Good evening guys, You may have noticed a little push recently to get you all to update the members log for our region. Well there has been a reason for this other than the obvious and that will now be explained. Once a month when your on this list you will receive a PM, inside this PM will be some stuff of use to you. Most notably: When and where your next area meet is scheduled, Local news for example if a car in the area is being parted out then you will know about it, and You will also have the ability to make area requests, ie if your struggling or need some motivation you can use this to appeal for some help from your area. Now if you wish not t…

I've been contemplating a 300ZX for years and now theres one for sale on SXOC which I am 98% sure I want, but as I've never actually been in one I'd like to get a ride in one first to see what they are like in the flesh. As its in Bath I can't just pop down there quickly for a quick drive in it so am hoping that someone in S.E. London/Kent would be able to take me for a drive in theirs sometime soon? (I say soon, as I don't want to leave it too long in case the car sells) Will repay you for your time/effort with petrol money/beer tokens.

Hi South Central members! I'd like to announce the appointment of a joint Regional Events Organizer for your area; along with the closure and merging of the former Thames Valley area into the SC region. Since ZX-TT sold his ZX he has seldom been active as the REO for The TV; so as most of the members attending TV meets hail from the area West of London, it made sense to incorporate the TV region into South Central. In view of the larger area, and to help BigH plan future local meets, it is with pleasure that Vodkashots and I introduce z32bolt (Steve) as joint REO with immediate effect. On behalf of The Committee, I'd like to thank ZX-TT (Craig) for all effort…

Hi SE members, As title, I am on the hunt for a new REO to cover London and the South East. Yassa has not been around for over a year now and his subscription has expired - hence he is no longer eligible to be an REO. If anyone (subscribed) would like the job of organising regional events for this area, please let me know ASAP. If no-one takes up the role by Christmas, I will have to consider merging this area with South Central - calling it "London and the South" or something..... So please folks, this is your region; if you would like to retain it in the current format, please do not let it die!! Thanks, Richard:cool:

Morning people, Below is a list of 2014 shows and events. Alongside each show is the date if known. What I want from people here is an idea as to what show's you would like to attend and which you think are a waste of time. It is proposed that at a number of these shows we will have a joint stand with Z-Club and 350z-uk. This means that we will get a better, bigger plot, and it will be a much more lively and interesting stand to be on. This list is by no means exhaustive. So please add any local shows you think we should attend no matter how big or small. It's all about getting the club names out there, and getting the social side of the scene rebooted. …

Hi all. I've put a few thoughts down for regional and joint events now that I've taken over running this area. Proposals are: Quarterly meetings/bi-monthly meetings. It's been proven that maintaining healthy numbers on regularly monthly meetings is something that just doesn't happen. Having a quarterly or possibly bi-monthly meeting would hopefully keep the interest going if was also coupled with something that wouldn't 'just' be a meet at a pub somewhere one Sunday afternoon. Nothing wrong with this, but there are plenty of things that happen in the year that members could be part of - such as a meet at the Haynes Museum as part of their 'rare breeds' days etc…

Hi Devon & Cornwall members, I want to let you all know that I have been looking at some possible area changes this weekend. I am considering merging some lesser patronised and represented areas, with others that are (perhaps) more active - in the effort to try and encourage more regional meets. Consequently your area has come to my attention as you have been without an REO for some time. It is a similar situation in Avon/Somerset/Gloucs; since Murt sold up and effectively "left" his REO position. I am thinking of merging the two areas under the heading "South West" and would like to gauge your thoughts - and whether anyone would like to take on the role of …

Hi all NE and Yorkshire members, Some of you (particularly those from South and West Yorkshire) may have noticed a slight change to the local area groups. Following the lack of activity and REO for South and West Yorks, I have merged that area with another to form a larger one now known as "North East and Yorkshire." The REO for the old NE and N Yorks region (Bird - AKA Lee) remains REO, but for the bigger area..... I hope this means that there will be more opportunities for regional meets in 2014 and beyond!! As ever, if anyone has any questions please feel free to contact me or Bird! Cheers! Richard:cool:

Usually most Z's are tucked away for winter, but for those who have not, like me, you may be interested in popping along to this meet organized by Cruise North Wales, https://www.facebook.com/events/163263770548416/?ref=4 i will be going, and a couple more have shown an interest. Would be good if we could manage even 3 or 4 to turn up Its a general car club, but another chance to bring the Z marque to more peoples attention within our area. Details are in the link.

Hi South West members! I'd like to announce the appointment of a new Regional Events Organizer for your area. Murt has stepped down from Avon, Somerset and Gloucs and Devon & Cornwall has not had an REO for some time. Hence for the short term, I have merged the areas under together as "South West" and it is with pleasure that Vodkashots and I introduce Funkysi (Simon Parsons) as the new REO with immediate effect. On behalf of The Committee, I'd like to thank Murt for all his efforts to date; and congratulate Simon on his new role within the club. Richard Smith Club secretary For The Committee

Hi everyone, After a few comments on the subject, I reckon we should try and hold a local meet at the Red Lyon in Hurley before Christmas..... Perhaps even a proper club lunch!! What does everyone think; and what day should me make it for? Please register your interest below; and that includes the South Central and South East members, plus anyone else who is within reasonable driving distance of Hurley (near Henley/Maidenhead - about 10 minutes from M4 j8/9)..... Richard:rockon:
