I spotted that the guys on the ZClub have a decent turnout going to the Classic and Performance Car Spectacular & Cheshire Auto Jumble at Tatton Park. May31st/June1st, including some 300ZXs Now I have my car back I've asked if I can tag along with them on the Sunday (1st June) and wondered if anyone else from here would be interested in joining - assuming RichieP who is organising the meet can still get us exhibitor passes So if anyone else want's to come along on either day then let me know and I'll try to get us added Rich

  4. Traditionally this is the biggest turn out of zed models on the calendar. For 2014 the organisers have moved the cut off point for tickets forward so its essential to book and pay for tickets early. Full info on the event is here. http://www.japfest.co.uk/ This will be a joint stand with other Z clubs and will have the full range of models. There will be three Z dedicated track sessions but the numbers are limited so don’t wait too long to commit. There are three Z dedicated track sessions booked at 10.42, 11.54 and 2.18 and each session will be for 20 Z/ZXs. Places for these sessions fill extremely quickly and if you want to precipitate i…

My Mrs pointed it out to me today, that Japfest is being held on the same day as Badminton Horse Trials, (for those who dont know, Badminton is the most spectated horsing event in Europe) , and of course Saturday is the Cross County day which is the most popular event And as bad planning goes, the two events are around 10 miles from each other... ...So traffic will be incredible, worth taking note when planning journey time!

  8. Started by Lexx,

This years event has proven thus far to be well above expectations for numbers attending. I need some of those camping to volunteer to use a campsite 1.7miles away in the next village. There is a £10 a night charge for that site. It would help greatly with the parking situation at Cark. I also have one room left in Eeabank Cottage for £60 per night (min 3 nights) if anyone wants it instead of camping..

I may also organise a drive onto part of the tour de france road that runs up to blackstone edge, (…

  13. Hi folks OK it may seem a while away yet, but June will be upon us quicker than we think! So I have two completely different meeets lined up for June and nows a good time to start asking who would like to come along and join the fun First up is the Trentham Gardens Classic Car show on Fathers day Sunday 15th of June http://www.classicshowsuk.co.uk/carshoweventsinformation/carshow_date.asp?id=23 We had a great turnout last year with no less than 16 cars exhibiting and it was a really good day out, so if you want to come along this year then get your name on the list. Hi guys, I know this is a little late in the day, but Cribbs Causeway are holding their annual 'Bristol Motorshow' - it's a free event. http://www.mallcribbs.com/motorshow14.php I am looking at going on either the Sunday or the Monday. It's quite a family event, so should interest any of you that have that commitment and want to do something nice. Appreciate that this is late notice, but I'm going to be there either Sunday or Monday - if anyone else fancies attending, let me know and I'll make sure that I am about on the day(s) that you are too. :)

Hi all, The Classic and Sports cars by the lake is taking place on Sunday 31st August, again apologies as I know that this is a fair way off but it is becoming a rather popular event for petrol heads in our region who like to display their cars and has become a great day out. http://www.hallfarmfornham.com/classic-sports-cars-by-the-lake.html Unfortunately it is only going to be a one day event, but for this region with 400 to 500 displayed prestigious marques it is a good day out for car enthusiasts and family/friends. I have the application forms for both singular entry and for a club stand. I will be definitely going and it would be great if there are e…

  16. Hi guys theres bridge work going on in the village in the morning so you can probably follow the usual sat nav route. Come off the motorway as usual at M62 J21 follow signs for rochdale , turn right at the lights following hollingworth lake signs, go up the hill, left at the gallows pub again following signs to the lake. When you reach the mini rdbt at the end of this road turn left down smithybridge road, go over the level crossing, to end of the road to the T junction. Turn right and come into littleborough from the other side. At the lights by the closed bridge works turn left towards todmorden and you are back on track. See you guys tomorrow 10am onwards
