Is anyone interested in going to Trax this year. Just been looking at there site - http://www.traxshows.co.uk/ and it cost £15 to get in. If anyone wants track time, I believe it has to be booked by 05/08/02. For anyone who's been before, what's the score with parking if you havn't got a club stand? Craig, is it too late to get a club stand? I don't mind trying to organize it, but it says on their site that a form has to be signed by a club committee member. Cheers Vijay - still gutted at not getting to Billing!!!! [This message has been edited by vijay (edited 01-08-2002).]

I should know this by now as it will be my third year, but i just want to make sure that i don't need a pass or anything to come into the show area. I know i need to pay at the gate, but i take it that i just turn up and park next to all the 300z's Cheers Ian

If anyone is travelling from South Wales, I'll be leaving Caerphilly at 6:00 am. I plan to reach the Severn bridge by 8:30 and if the wind is behind me I should have crossed it before 9:45. I'll have to slow down a bit after Bristol because it's uphill. After that it's relatively flat and if I stick my suspension on hard then I should be able to sustain over 45 mph even on the motorway bends. At Swindon I will be selecting 4wd and taking a straight line to Billing. I expect to arrive at around 4:00 pm if I've kept my foot down all the way. If anyone finds any speed traps on the way then I'm unlikely to be overly concerned. Dave P.S. Save me a spa…

OK, I’m sure there are quite a few of us ‘southerners’ who are going to Billing, and I’m sure a few of us will be going the M25, M1 route, so I was wondering if anyone was organising a convoy ? What ya think ? Herman

tag your names and interest on the thread to get an idea of numbers ? trade stand anyone ? dyno anyone ? Subject: Japanese Auto-Extravaganza Hi Craig We would love to have your club at JAE this year. The venue is the same as previous years. The dates are 27th & 28th July but your members can camp from Friday. Costs again will be free to enter the event, but there will be the usual charge to enter Billing which will be £6.00 per car (I think) plus camping which will be £1-£2 more per night per car (Bargain). We are going to have the fireworks on the Saturday night and a donation towards the cost of this from your club or members would be apprecia…

There is a pub meet on Thursday 11th July from 7.00pm at the John Thompson Inn at Ingleby near Derby. It is 5 minutes from the A50 Swarkestone turn off. The pub has a fairly big, quiet car-park and the pub brews it's own beer. The meeting is open to anyone with a performance car. I think this is mainly classic sportscar stuff, but it seems like a number of clubs are planning to attend, e.g. TVR's, BMW 2002 (first production turbo or was it fasted production turbo - summat like that), Z Club of GB and many, many more if you can be bothered to search. http://www.midessextvr.co.uk/events.htm#match Probably not worth a long trip, but for us locals (me, Steve.R, his mate with the black Zed, Crazy Eddie etc) then it might be worth a short drive on a sunny Sunday and it'll beat cutting the grass ! If anyone is interested this is an event I attended last year. A large number of supercars park up in front of the museum. Last year there was a dozen 300's, Vipers, TVRs, Ferraris, Lambos, etc, etc. If you want to show your Twin Turbo then contact them and they will send you a free VIP entrance ticket. Web: http://www.heritage.org.uk/ Tel: 01926-641188 See you there. ------------------ "Before it blew up" "Now driving a Celica - great NOT!" --------------- Z first and anything else is secondary and live life a quarter mile at a time! Hello Leigh, Just bought some R33 brakes from a 600 BHP skyline owner, he took me for a spin in it and it was like the world was moving in Fast Forward, no word of a lie. Anyway having a chat with him and told him about the Slough meet we had and he was very keen to meet up with everyone. He said he knew 4 or 5 skyline owners that would be there at a drop of a hat, because there forum isn't as big as ours. Seemed like a nice bloke with a genuine interest in Jap Performance cars. If you or anybody fancies organising another one or I'll do it if needs be, then I am Game. all the best. Mark
