Hi, Just spotted this on the Z-club website, and I can't see it over here ... There's a meeting at Reading 7th October 6 pm, apparently it's: "Right of the comet car park @ BandQ(diy store) near the madejski stadium. Reading j11 m4 7TH oct 6pm" Apparently, JAPANESE PERFORMANCE are covering it ... Don't know much more than that - but for locals it might be fun .. CheerZ, JB.

Where would you like the track day to be held? We have two choices which are Elvington Elvington is located about 7 miles south of York. It's aprox. 70miles from Manchester and 210 miles from London. The diagram below shows the layout of the track. Binbrook Binbrook is a few miles south from Grimsby. It's aprox. 120 miles from Manchester and 170 from London. Below is a photograph of the area of airfield we will be using with the track highlighted. Where would you like the day to be held?

Ok, so me, Stu, Marc and Mike have spoken about this before on MSN but lets sort something out. A good old p1ss up and to make fools of ourselves. Who wants some? Ist round is on me.... We need a date and a location. After I come back from holiday would be good for me, thats 4th November - so maybe the following sat or one after that? I am trying to find if there is any interest in organising an airfield track day. Airfield track days, for the people who dont know, are track days on airfields ;). Heheheh. It has great advantages of having lots of run off so you wont be crashing into any barrieres and we race on the run way, and people who have been on a plane know there isnt a building, fence or wall any where near a run way. So its safer than a proper track. The course is marked out by cones, which are smaller and softer as not to cause damage if hit by a car. Air fields almost always work on an open pitlane policy, where you are free to join the track when ever you want, or when their is room. O…

It would need to be after mid-october as they are booked until then. Once I have a number of people and the brochure I'll get the price and post up some possible times we can attend. There seems to be quite a few people up for it, so I have started to make the next step. I have been given dates of when the track days are on after the new year, and you vote when you prefer. If you vote please post reasons for that date, to get a clearer picture of what people want. Also say whether you could attend the other dates too. After a date is decided I will ask about prices and then discounts. I hope as many people as possible come. It would also be a great place for a meeting too and chat. The next Midlands meet is on Sunday 28th September at 11 a.m. This is a meeting with a difference! There is the usual car meet with a raffle in aid of Cancer Research UK. There is also a 185 foot bungee jump, bbq, disco, raffle and stalls laid on by the pub with proceeds going to the Magic Million appeal for Cancer treating hospital equipment. I'm thinking of organizing a paintballing trip for SAT 1st Nov or maybe sunday the 2nd. Anyone interested? I have a space for the RR shootout on Sunday 19th October but my Z now has a long awaited booking confirmed for engine removal and strip down next week. Won't be fixed and run in before the RR day so if your interested please let MAC1 know via email that you want to take my place. I think it costs £30+vat. Steve E

Hi, Meet Shahid (top Bloke) today to exchange some Z goodies and we were talking about how many people are in the Locality, James 300, Jock, Me, AndrewG and a loadmore! So does anyone fancy having a small meet say somewhere like the Purley Way, 10mins from M25 and south of Croydon!

SE are having another open day on Saturday 18th of October,then on the Sunday they are having a 300zx only rolling road shootout. The cost of the RR will be £30+vat per car. Just booked myself in the AndyP B&B in Essex,any one from here up for it?;)
