I'm pleased to announce that Megaboost, in association with Straightliners have found a replacement venue for the failed Xscape meet (not sure if anyone told you chaps about that one?) The new location is Elvington Airfield near York (details in post below) and as well as the intended static meet I'm pleased to say that we'll now have some racing too! 16th May As this is the year of the Monkey, the Awol group intends to travel down in convoy to Monkey World to meet up with the South Central and South West local Z groups I will be at Fleet Services on the West side of the M3 at 9.45 leaving at 10.00 calling in at the Winchester Service Area at 10.30. Leaving at 10.45 to a further pick up point at the Rufus Stone Services just after Junction 1 on the A31 at approximately 11.15 and then leaving at 11.30 for the 35 mile drive to Monkey World that is situated 4 miles past Bere Regis for info on monkey world see here

See, Mr Groves was saying he could kick anyone's ass a pool. And Stu (SMW1) was reckoning he'd take a piece of Mike's ass to the fackin cleaners. Personally, I've never played pool in my life, but I'd still be up for kicking both their asses hands down. That's only if I'm allowed 4+ pints before I'm expected to step up. Posted on behalf of Steve Mercer Hi guys/girls. we are trying to organise a indoor karting event for sometime next month. it will take place at Go karting for fun at Gosport/Fareham. The format would be to have a team endurance race which consists of a race briefing, practice session and a 120 minute race including pit stops. The price would be £150 per team and each team needs 5-6 drivers, so if your team has 5 drivers the cost would be £30 each. The winning team is the one that has completed the most laps in the 120 min session and trophies and undrinkable sparkling wine(mmm) will be awarded to the top 3 teams. I am a new member and would like to know when the next meet is for my area? I live in Hampshire. Have met Tack outside South Coast Wheels the day after I bought my Z but that's the only one i Have seen.....

The Old lock and Weir/ Chequers at Hanham seems to go down OK, as it is down by the river, plenty of space if early, and has TWO pubs! On the weekend of 22nd / 23rd May, the Z Club is providing a display of historic racing 240Zs for Nissan as part of their stand at this year's csma Historic Weekend at Brands Hatch circuit in Kent. We have examples of race, rally and hill climb cars from the past and present of Z racing history in the U.K. which will be displayed in conjunction with the 350Z models supplied by Nissan themselves. The weekend includes a full timetable of Historic racing on the track, numerous special displays and a range of family entertainment. The Z Club will have a display at the Aero & Auto Extravaganza, Museum of Flight, Nr Haddington on 2nd May. There will be at least 1 300 (mine!) and a selection of Z's from 240 to 350. There is a santapod day on friday 4th June where entrance is limited to 100 cars. From the lotus (seloc)site i arranged for some elises, 300ZX's, saab9000's to go for this events. We are still looking for some other good drag cars to come on the day-4th June(Friday). Entrance is £10 Track use is £50 for the day This wont be like a run what you bring day where you spend all day queueing for 1 go, u will get many turns on the strip-like i said entrance is limited to 100 cars from 8.30am to around 5pm.
