Hello all - just wanted an idea of when you think the next SE meet should be! We've got the beer & curry night on 12 November but I realise that not everyone can make this. Any ideas for dates, venues and format for our next meet appreciated! CheerZ Steve :)

Ok, from what i hear there is a guy trying to organise an event to gain support for a drag racing strip to be built in Thornton. I mean a REAL drag strip. Not an old airfield like Crail. The guy just needs to show that there is enough support to go ahead with it. So there is going to be a big get together this Sunday between 4-8pm. Fullarton car park Glenrothes. Lets get as much cars together as possible!!! It will cos £2.50 (PER CAR) to get in, but with that you will get a free burger. :D See you there.

Yet to square this with Jonno, but seen as he's based in Germany Nr Dortmund, i can feel a meet coming on :D Beer footie cars and possibly a trip to the ring :hyper: who fancies it then. Dont know where England will play their games yet, but if its in Dortmund then that would be class. Read more here http://wm2006.deutschland.de/EN/Navigation/Home/home.html http://wm2006.deutschland.de/EN/Content/Host-Country-Germany/Cities-and-stadiums/dortmund.html Trip provisonally would include a boat from either Newcastle or Hull or E Anglia over to Holland then the small drive over.

This is particularly pathetic but probably the most important factor of whether I get a Zed or not. I have no idea if one will fit in my garage, and if it does will I be able to open the door? Sad that my decision to buy comes down to this but unfortunately it's a breaker, I'm not parking one on the road most of the time. So I come to my ask, does anyone live in or near Canterbury that could swing into my garage and try it? I really don't want to put anyone out and I don't have much to offer other than a warm cup of tea but I would be eternally grateful and have a winning smile. :)

Right lads, Some of you have shown an interest in a night out at the dogs and some have leaned towards a night at Tall Trees. As you can appreciate, time is getting on and we really need to get this sorted ASAP, therefore, I've decided to put a stake in the ground and go with the majority decision, which is Tall Trees. The other deciding factor to bear in mind was location. Sunderland Greyhound Stadium is a long way to travel for lads from North Yorkshire, whereas, Tall Trees is just about central for everyone. So, venue is Tall Trees on the 10th December. I already have several names down, however, can you please confirm again if you are definately up …
