Tentative plan is to have a Scalextric (and beer) day at my place on 29th Dec. Due to the unfortunate demise of a major stock of Scalextric parts (my mates Mum has donated the contents of her loft to the charity shop without telling him) we are now lacking somewhat in the track supply department. If anybody in the area could lend me some, or even turn up, have a few beers and have a play for the day that would be great. At the moment we have a couple of sets available to us, but given the size of my dining room/lounge it's not gonna be nearly as impressive as was intended. I have the potential for a 35-40' straight, so this could be fun with enough gear ! Let m…

Right guy's an gals it's that festive time of year again. I'm planning a go-kart and meal type of event. It will be held at Fosse karting on the A46 near Wymeswold. My uncle works there and he is trying to get a slot for us on the 11th of December. It a great outside venue and has the longest track in the east midlands. As for the meal I'm trying to find out if the hotel next door does meals. Lets see a show of hands please Ivan

There is a new film called Dolphins being released in cinemas next year. They are currently filming around the Brighton area. (Using my 300zx as a main car as some of you know :hyper: ) They have asked if I could help get some cars together for a 'cruise' type scene they are filming. Cars will be required Tueday and Wednesday and will need to be able to get to Newhaven/Brighton areas. I've watched a fair bit of the film develop over the last few weeks and it's looking pretty good and very professional. (People from Emmerdale and Lock Stock in it) If you want the full details send us a pm and I'll forward locations and times etc on.

Right guys & gals.... I'd like to setup a yearly SW meets calender, thats shows the dates of all future meets. This should allow those that work and have other plans, to make arrangements in advance if they want to attend. Something like "Last Sunday of every month"..or something like that. Dates would'nt nessarily be 100% fixed, and may occasionally be altered. what do you all think...any suggestions ? What sort of dates or days of the week are good or no good for you ? Sundays and Saturdays only really. I also want to plan the meet details 2 months in advance. So you'll always have the dates of all future meets, and where and what the next 2 mo…

Right guys...2006 is approaching quicky and thats a whole new year of Meets :hyper: For January I would like to start with a straight forward meet, such as a Pub somewhere in Gloucestershire - I need suggestions from those that live there... The Haynes Meet went very well and for 2006 I'd like to incorporate some events. - Karting - Rolling Road - Track Day(s) - Summer BBQ - Evening Meal out (Indian/Chinese..etc) We will also have the National Meets to attend, where we can get together and Convoy to them. I'd like to hear some ideas.......
