In view of the fact we don't have an REO, Slick Pete and myself were discussing ideas of a temporary midlands meet in derby perhaps at one of the pubs near the race course. It's a nice pub and i'm sure i've been there before with a big car park. Pete has the details of the location but if we say the last Sunday in October (29th)? 1, Slick Pete 2, Bantambunny

Midland guys are having a meet, organised by bantambunny and Slick Pete, within an hour's drive for most of us, so I've asked if we can join them. Good excuse for a drive, see some Z's and have a nice lunch. Racecourse Uttoxeter Derby Road, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, ST14 5AA 01889 561800 http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=ST14+5AA&ie=UTF8&z=17&om=1&iwloc=A We will meet in the pub at 12pm lunchtime onward, Sunday 29th October with the view of possibly having something to eat. This is a Brewer's Fayre pub so should be nice and cheap to eat with good food and open for all the family to come. Menu's are f…

Hi, I hope it ok to post this here and sorry it's such short notice but I've only just found this forum! This will be the second meeting of the recently formed Dorset Japanese Car Club. It's going to be very informal and open to everyone for a look around the cars and a chat/beer/grub whatever! I've put 1pm as the start time but it's probably worth arriving a bit earlier if possible as the pub is pretty popular. Sunday 8th October, 1:00pm. Location: Worlds End Inn Winterborne Zelston Blandford Forum Dorset DT11 9EW Drop in to WWW.DJCC.CO.NR for more information. Cheers, Rob.

Guys/Gals.....Im thinking about standing down as SW REO.....main reason being that I just dont have the time (and tbh...the enthusiasm) for it anymore :( ..and this has probably become obvious to all recently.... I could persuade myself to keep going if there was'nt anyone else to take over, so this thread is really about asking who would be up for replacement. Whoever it is would need to understand the need to cater for the whole SW region....From Gloucester down to Cornwall, with regular monthly meets on regular dates..... The role would need to be officially announced by Commitee and voted upon, this is just to give a heads up really.....

Hi guys, Haven't done anything Zed related for a while (apart from washing it and driving it). I keep forgetting to look on this forum. Gaz, is it worth organising a regular meeting point at the same place at the same time each month? For example, another club I belong to always meet on the 1st Sunday of the month in the same pub. Sounds boring but you still get to do other meets as well and at least everyone knows where and when to turn up. Just an idea, what do people think? Ian A.

Following the amazing success of Japfest at Castle Combe the organisers have decided to stage a second event this time held at Donington Park. Similar to Castle Combe, the Z Club is joining forces with the 300ZX and the 350Z forums to put on one of the biggest displays of the marque. In addition there will be two Z/ZX dedicated track sessions limited to 30 cars, but please book early to avoid disappointment (£20 per session, £21 via paypal) Entrance is £6 per person (£6.50 via Paypal, £14 on the gate). To gain access to the club stand we will need to book a vehicle passes (you don’t want your ZX out in the general Car park!) so you need to let me know now!! …
