just signed in to say hi guys i`m a recently converted 300zx fan the scenario being i have to date had only old skool fords (capri 280`s and a few audi urd quattro`s) one of six made turbo technics f-16 240 bhp for an obscene amountof money with the view to becoming a 300zx owner as my girlfriend bought one a couple of months ago(as a daily driver)since then i`ve been smitten with `em (i love the r.w.d. big b.h.p.thing) so my first question is i have a few bob to lay out on my first aquisition where do i go to purchase the best of the best "top dollar" or "yen" lol.lol. twinturbo targa topped beasty and what sort of money would i expect to lay out for such a car??????…

Well, I finally got around to joining. :nana2: I've been looking for a suitable 'Z' for a few weeks now & hopefully will be buying fairly soon. Although I had a 300ZX as a company car for a couple of months back in 1996, this will be the first Japanese car that I have actually owned. I started looking for a 300ZX around 5 years ago & ended up buying a Corrado G60 instead............ I have since got bored with that & sold it. I began my working career as a mechanic & I'm now employed as a Product Manager for a national car parts distribution company. I now live in Birmingham & hopefully will be attending some Midlands meets soon.

I would like to make a suggestion. It appears that where I live in Bedford we seem to be nominated as in the "south east" region. Now this is OK but to be honest when I look at venues that are arranged by the REO they seem to be in Brighton or anywhere south of or in the area of London/Essex. I feel that I would rather be included in the midlands region if possible as they have meetings ect nearer to me? It would take me hours to join a meeting in Brighton or south of London but to join a meeting in even Nottingham would be less than 1 & half hour to get to. I am not sure how anyone else around here is concerned? Maybe even the possibility of starting another regio…
