The car has been acting up recently and i keep coming across this one.. I take the car not too far, but to about 4500 and the car just completely stops accelerating and i have to change gear... Am i guessing im getting fuel cut?? First gear its fine, second gear its fine, 3rd, 4th and 5th are getting to a certain RPM and completely stopping, the car WILL NOT rev any more.. tonight i took the nose panel off and gave the MAF connector a bit of a wiggle (very nice of the nose panel bolts thread to completely break as in away from home!! My friend lucky had spares!) and on the way home i took the car to at least 6K rpm and it had no fuel cut?!?!? I haven't drove it…

Have a good one matey. :duffer:
