Can anyone please tell me, can you still be fined if your vehicles wheels are not on a box junction, but part of the body of the vehicle is just over hanging. Just recived a penalty notice date of offence 13/01/2006 date of notice 03/02/06. The thing is i was driving a lorry at the time with a folklift on the back, they have put the registration of the folk lift on the notice. The lorry has a different registration to the folklift because i can drive the folklift on the road it has its own tax but at the time it was attached to the lorry and all the wheels were off the ground do i pay or challenge? All because of people cutting in on you and putting you in that sit…

The girlfriend has a mobile phone contract with one of those cash back offers where you have to send a certain number of bills after a certain number of months. Well in her impatience she rushed off her claim a month too early and it has taken 3 months for the company to respond saying her claim was invalid and now the expiry date has passed so they can't do anything. Basically she sent 5 bills instead of 6 and in emails to her they said they wouldn't process the claim until the cut-off date (ie expiry date) so she had no way of knowing that she had done something wrong until it was too late. However in their terms and conditions it says "Your claim will be processe…

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in a club day out to a rolling road somewhere... never been on a RR myself (or my cars lol) but thought it might be a laugh if a few people needing / wanting a session were to rock up at once... also might make for bit of club discount and a few good pics of the zeds waiting to be put through their paces... Open to suggestions of decent places to go as it would clearly depend on the geography of the majority unless there is an uber RR in the uk for us.. anyway just poling for interest at the moment...

I finally got round to sorting my wheels out:- got Falken FK451's from http://www.valuetyres.co.uk in the end, 265/35/r18 rears, and 235/40/r18 fronts, £408.00 delivered :) Anyhoo, got the tyres fitted yesterday, and painted the calipers and put the wheels on today (with a little help from Chunk, who popped over to buff my nuts  ;)). And the results are attached  :nana2:  :D I know it looks a bit '4x4' at the moment, but I'm still waiting for my springs from Eibach, so no mickey taking

before yesterday i'd not driven my Z at all for two weeks as ive been bikin' it to work (to get fit/save petrol but mainly so no-one keys my bodywork). went to drive her yesterday and battery was flat as a pancake (even alarm had stopped working and luckily i could get in passenger-side door using lock) i knew the battery was on its way out anyway - its been in the car since i got it 3 years ago. bought a new one from parker's down the road (£60), took the Z for a nice 'tour' through the countryside and wow what a difference its made. engine more powerful and responsive and the ride just feels so much smoother. new battery is the best mod you can get! :p

Just got this pick from Karen, I was just driving home on 28th December '05. As you can see there is a light covering of snow, but it got a hell of a lot worse by the time I got home. This was the same day that I tested my ABS ;) well it worked, the car didn't stop, but the ABS worked anyway  Anyone got any of theirs in the snow?

Just had the zed out for the first time since november, just thought i'd give it a quick spin to the local shops and back cos its been stood so long. i'd been on the road for literaly 1 minute and a police range rover passes me in the opposite direction i noticed the coppers were looking at my car as they drove past, i looked in the mirror and noticed theyed put their indicator on to turn off and realised they were turning round to follow me. at which point i turned off and thought about putting the footdown to loose them before they came around the corner, i decided against it and drove at 20mph around the street and decided to head back home by which time they'd ca…

Actually took my car out for a proper run and went to Chunks to see him and Martin (T-Pot) and I also met Peach and Martins wife/partner (sorry mate dont know if you are wed?) Very nice lady and very attractive too. Lucky man. ANYWAY. I had a great day and enjoyed the company and the drive. About 160 miles all in. On the way home just outside Bedford I had a STi Scooby bug eye try to push me along a bit we both floored it and to be honest I left him for dead. I knew I would smoke him but really hung on to it and was quite pleased with the result. I didnt ask for it apart from just driving a ZED. when we got to the end of the road near Asda's we exchanged smiles and he nod…
