Well I phoned the bedford main dealer about my surging problems with the Volvo and he thinks I might be covered by a re-call on this model. So fingers crossed it aint going to cost me an arm and a leg to get sorted. I might have a deal sorted on it as I want an estate as my OTHER CAR and the blokes got an 850 T5 in great condition with full leather and its manual which is a bonus.

Hi, if you have a 2 car classic policy (zed would be 2nd car). Can you sell the 1st car to a family member but carry on running your insurance on it as you would be car sharing with the other family member. They would need to get insured - Im aware of that but can 2 people insure the same car and would it affect a classic policy?

this made me laugh.......................The Understanding Man... I got a phone call from a gorgeous ex-girlfriend of mine the other day. We lost track of time, chatting about the wild, romantic nights we used to enjoy together. I couldn't believe it when she asked if I'd be interested in meeting up and rekindling a little of that 'magic'. Wow!" I said, "I don't know if I could keep pace with you now! I'm a bit older and a bit balder than when you last saw me!" She just giggled and said she was sure I'd rise to the challenge!!! Yeah" I said, "just so long as you don't mind a man with a waistline that's a few inches wider these days!" …

Hi folks I don't know if this is the right list to post this one? I've just bought a 300zx that needs cosmetics inside. It's got 300zx.co.uk front and back. It's black, registered in 2003, auto TT Targa fairlady Z, still in km's. What I want to know is who was the previous owner? and is there anything wrong with it that I can't see. Shall I put the reg on here? Any advice helpful.

Ring the "customer care " of the firm I have just ordered the laptop from and complain about the delivery schedule, the lady on the other end of the indian call centre starts adopting an attitude with me, so I ask for her boss, she refuses to give it to me and a disagreement ensues, I then cancel my order! So I end up going for a drive, park the car up and because I am in such a bad mood forget to put a ticket on the car, remember, come back and a fookin warden is sticking a ticket on the car. He is taking photos of the car/ signs/ street, so I thought fook that, and I start taking pictures on my mobile of him doing this. He starts objecting and says he is wr…

you know i have to say, after all the crap i have had, im actually looking forward to having tha work done on the car. i have never been one for cars, never bothered owning one till i met kell, just never felt the need. i got my 4x4 and was happy with that, but now i got the fairlady i just love her. im always looking for an excuse to drive it, mess with it or just get on with something on it. I have to say i am looking forward to taking it back to ztech for its next set of upgrades and work, my knowladge about cars can be written on one sentence"fook all" but ryan and greg do a top job every time and i thank them for that. To say I'm gutted is an understatement. After having yet another clutch fitted as the one fitted previously was not done in its entirety, had a new prop shaft bearing, main seal, gearbox and diff oil...thanks to SouthWestZeds all runs very well. Lovely job Jason!! Did a compression test on the cylinders to try and find what all the oil problems were. Yes. 2 of the cylinders were very low, one was reading 60PSi (dry). It's surprising the car still runs at all, but it does and still very very smoothly. Oil cap off and vapor escaping. So it's well and truly shafted. Devastated really. I love my zed to bits, treat it with so much care, rarely used …

Does anyone know of a shareware or 'free' piece of software that will convert divx to another format? I have been given the first 11 episodes of Lost series 2 but they are divx formatted which my dvd player doesn't like. I need to convert them into another format (vcd/mpeg etc.), but can't find a program suitable.   Cheers, Gareth

I used to enjoy the "road kill" section! Saw off a MB CLK320 today. OK not exactly fast, but he tried it on and failed miserably! Any more tales of heroics today?
