Well my Father and I finally got round to putting back the engine and gearbox (which we rebuilt Christmas) Damn thing wouldnt start at first, but then problem found to be someone had washed out the inlet manifold with parrafin and not dried it thouroughly enough :rolleyes: doh! (yes that was me btw..........) So I pulled the plugs out, dried the cylinders out and warmed the soaking spark plugs up. Fired up great then, just revved to 2500 rpm and a limiter came in. All that was was the AFM plug had worked loose. Big thanks goes out to John Dixon :bow: . Working well into the night with me to remove $hit loads of gubbins the Z doesn't need, bracke…

Nothing is ever easy :rolleyes: After my car went into the tuning garage we need to do a few bits on the car so started measuring up for some new pipework to go onto the turbos and to modify or make up some new engine mounts and we have surcome to the fact that we need to take the engine out!? So much for a ready made/built car lol But at least with the engine out we can do a few other jobs!! on the list so far: Fit EDFC onto suspension Fit Custom 80mm pipework onto turbos and route them to either sides or middle and connect to 2 x AFM's and filters Re make all the hard pipes Remove the aircon Remove all the hicas Fit border fuel rail and 8…

Hi All.. Well im still searching for a nice TT Zed (Preferably in Black T-Bar) if anyone or if anyone knows who's selling one on here! Went to have a look at a few at an Import Place in B'ham centre - there were 4, 3 of them were utter pap...paintwork shoddy interior ripped etc. The 4th was nice - but waaay overpriced in my opinion. Need to find one soon!!!

guys im after a small piece of coding for my pc that someone might be able to help me with. All i want it to do is read the time of day (ie am /pm/evening (like 5pm onwards..) and then load one of three .html docs.. also be nice if it could close the docs after like 20secs or so... doesnt sound a big ask, but havent found anything like it on the internet and not good with coding myself.. cheers anyone...

Just read that autobacs off japan has brought a share in halfords and talk of opening stores and superstores in the uk they have 500 stores worldwide tawain/singapore/france/usa/and china/they hold massive stocks of all jap tuning parts .These stores are massive the size of a asda super store.

People, My internet connection 'appears' to have slowed down, it should be 2.2M but on ADSL speed tests it ranges from between about 660 - 980k, one did actually go as high as 1.1M, How do I fix this, I don't think it's anything to do with the connection but more my PC, probably crap software that's been installed and no longer needed (i.e. unwanted sh!t that installs itself). How do I identify, locate and remove all the sh!t CheerZ Paul

hi guys, just used mozilla firefox browser for the first time and noticed that my smiley icons are'nt moving at all?? any idea why?? i have ditched the norton system works and norton internet security in favour of zone alarm and avg antivirus is this a good choice guys :cool: thanks

Just noticed that when flicking through windows explorer, my documents etc I'm getting an icon flickering in the task bar on the bottom right. Looks like a clapper board and says 'Ogg DirectShow Filter' when I can manage to hover over it before it disappears. Any ideas what this is, I've not noticed it before? :confused: A quick google brings up a load of codec stuff. Cheers Pete

Suprsied no one else has posted this yet, I havent noticed a thread on it, maybe i've missed it. Anyway, to the point. The other week a couple of BNP people were up in court for allegedly using words to incite racial hatred, yesterday there were muslims demonstrating in cities in this country calling for the heads of just about everyone and holding placards saying 'youre time will come' death to all against Islam' etc etc, or words to that effect . Now why havent the whole lot been arrested and carted off to Guantanamo? If they hate us this much why dont they fvck off somewhere else. Really really really gets my goat ...

I have finally got around to fitting the indiglo clocks and am in the process of installing the ally dash kit. and to be quite honest I am pleased so far with the progression of my mods. The mirrors needed to be fooked about with and aint finished yet but will look nice when they are. Just thought I would share this... :bow:

Whats the difference in wheels between the UK Spec and JDM spec??? Are they the same??? Also what is the correct size tyres as i have a feeling mine maybe wrong, I have 245/45 on the rear and 225/50 on the front at the minute
