Hi guys, just bought a Z the other day, its a bit of a binner but it was cheap and bought with restoration in mind, its a `91 UK TT auto in Sunburst Pearl (that has to go!!). Its got loads of problems the chief of which is it wont boost above 2-3psi (but i will head over to Help and Advice for that). This is my first Turbo car (apart from a diesel that is) and also my first auto so if I ask any stupid questions please bear with me. Here`s the first:- Are there any good Zed specialists near Perth in Scotland? Cheers Mark

Right before you read this nonsense I am writing.. remember this... MY WIFE IS A HORRIBLE DRIVER!!!! That brings us nicely to this... she complained on tues night that her car (ford escort 98S reg) had a vacume type sound comming from the car. I was puzzled and she was obviously concerned (so she should have been) she booked a appt with the garage to have it looked at but it isnt till sat. Anyway since I have been off and will be off of work for a while I agreed to let her use my car but had to teach her how to drive it. ( no sexist jokes here) last time I tried to teach her she couldnt even get it out of our drive.. she kept stalling it... at least (no kidding) 1…

Come home from work tonight and the missus says a guy earlier on knocks at my door and asks, pointing at my Zed, is this your car to the missus. The missus says yes its my husband's, how can I help ? The dude goes, is it up for sale ? The missus goes, can you see any for sale sign on it ? He replies, no. Thus the missus says, you've answered your own question. The geezer apparently gives a dirty look and leaves. What do you guys think, a genuine enthusiast or a wierdo conman ? Apparently there were 2 off them, however the elder chap waited in their E Class Merc.

I started a consultancy job for a firm in London at the start of the year and since then have done only 10 days work. This is due to politics with clients etc but to be honest, I get paid to sit at home and it is doing my head in. I am seriously thinking of quitting and going contracting so I have more freedom, but it means less security...but the other up side is more money for the zed!!! So another day of getting paid to do no work...weather too crap to enjoy the car...should I stick it out or just say fook 'em and go elsewhere???

Heading out of Clacton earlier on the bypass, saw a 911 behind me so I floored it (only to 70 PC Plod..) he stuck behind me as I had to brake for traffic. We got near A12 and as I floored it I could see he was having trouble keeping up (unless he stopped trying but it looked like he was..)... I let him pass on the A12 and gave him a respectful wave and saw he was waving back...which shows...not all Porsche drivers are wan*ers...!!!

got these red led's for my stop and tail lights, loads brighter than standard bulbs.......with the LED look, bonus.... :hyper: http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=44&products_id=1094&osCsid=49a7d4a8dc8ba5b4df7325928c1974f5 pricey, but good...... ordered these white ones for my rear indicator bulb replacement..... they are dual contact for stop and tail lights, but if you put some solder across the contacts then its really bright, makes the indicators look really bright and they look good..... http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=44&products_id=1118&osCsid=49a7d4a8dc8ba5b4df7325928c1974f5 also you n…

help neede guys and gals as some may know, im doing up a house i bought cheap so i got a mortgage last year (sept) for around 63000 then had a unsecured loan for 12000 (first time buyer, 100% mortgage) then i was told after a month i could swop my mortgage and borrow 6000 more and get a better rate, so i did this with the same mortgage advisor who got me the original deal then there were some complications with a remortgage, which were sorted, so today i got the remortgage sorted and when it came through all they had done was swop the mortgage to another company and gave me 500 quid so i rang the bank and solicitors, and i was told that-that is a…

Guys and Gals, My GF's Bro has just passed his test and is trying to insure a Renault 5 GT Turbo (my old motor) he's only 18 and obviously negat no-claims! Anyone know any insurance company that might give him a decent quote? Just tried Elephant and they quoted 4472 squids! Eh? You having a laff Misseur Elephante, FFS, where are all these kids that are driving high powered motors and heavily modded getting insured? Most of them look like they're only just outta puberty and yet they're driving around in Punto GT's and Corsa's maxxed upto the hilt. Plus my other arguement is this...what these kids have to do now to even pass the test in the first place …
