General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Stopped off this evening to fill up with Optimax. Everything seemed ok- pulled out down the road. Changed 1st - 2nd and 2nd - 3rd fine. Then I went to change to 4th, and it just didn't want to engage. So I changed down to 2nd, back to 3rd, went for 4th and had the same problem! Started thinking about the clutch- only had it about a year, and even if it was screwed could it prevent higher gears from engaging whilst allowing lower ones? Seems unlikely so I discounted that. Which only really leaves the gearbox itself. :cry: ... Had one more go, with a bit more force and heard a strange kind of soft crack. Then I looked down and realised tha…

So....we all know what that means....WOOOOOOOHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be giving the local chavs a top down spanking so to speak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i have replaced lots of stuff on my zed, but the 1 item im most pleased by the results was my koyo rad, just pipped my blitz boost controller. Whats the best thing you bought?

at the vets today i HATE taking our akita to the vets, i feel like ive had an arm wrestle and gone 3 rounds with Mac and Big Roy TOGETHER we have to muzzle her and pin her down JUST to cut her nails lol she hates strangers and other dogs, and now i have to take her next week for an op' as we found a growth i just don't fancy the vets chances of jabbing her :rolleyes:

Hi all, I'm going to Ireland in May for a bit of touring across the south and am planning on taking the zed, however, as far as I can find out they don't sell Optimax etc over there, can anyone clarify what the best fuel available over there is. It's a J-spec and anything less than 98 RON sends it into safety boost! If there's nothing available can anyone recommend a good octane booster, I want to resolve this if I can as I don't want to have to drive like a pussy too much! :wack: Many thanks in advance :duffer: Rich

fitted my apexi blow of valves today, its dam tight as standard ill tell you took some doing :wack: and the back nut of the oem recirc valve is just a bitch! anyway, apexi's fitted really easy and simple to understand. i left the holes on biggest setting, will the smallest one make it loudest though? can only hear them when i accelerate fairly hard/ rev high, they dont work at low revs when turbos not working hard? they loud when they dump tho just i thought they went off everytime you let off?? love the winning noise they make too yay!!! so happy now.

There we were Old Buckinham airfield near Attlebough.Me and brother Dressed up looking like the airfield seen out of Top-Gun (NOT) got in plane flew above Norwich plans turns back to drop zone, still climing over two and half miles up above the clouds which sit at approx 2000ft yesterday were at 12000ft door opened my heart rate must have been going ten to a dozen.SHXT im out falling to earth nearly two hundred miles an hour 10 secs out comes little tiny shute which slows me down toapprox 150 miles per hour.now layin face down hands out doing silly bolluxks for about 35 sec. Down to 5000ft out comes main shute now flying arond approx 50 miles an hour googles of taking…
