Well as a biker i'm used to the whole nodding thing and respecting their machines or passion for fast bikes etc but i've never had it in a car until now with the Z.. obviously i've had a few 300zx drivers give me a wave but today i was quite surprised when a guy in a very very nice skyline gave me a wee wave never seen this happen before especially in a different model of car.. fair enough another Z but a Skyline! I gave him a nod back as i was too bust admiring his car (the nod comes naturally from biking lol) and didny have time to give him a wave but it feels good to be recognised/respected by people driving other cars! Made my day!

I transferred my private plate onto the Z today. The papers etc dont come till next week etc, until then I cannot change the plate over. My plate is G2UAR as my surname is GRUAR. I just noticed on the way home that since the Z has a square rear it wouldnt mean anything. Am I able to just simply use a rectangular one on the back and if so will it need to be a 3/4 etc?? TIA, Dave G

I have to admit I kind of liked it. Plus people knew if someone had a high post count they *probably* knew what they were talking about to some extent. Was it unfairly blamed for a spate of 'nonsense posts'? Or did it cause whoring and cliques or something like that and we're better off without it?

GReddy PRofec e-01 GReddy's new super multi-tasker is the PRofec e-01. Designed as a combination: boost-controller, data display / logger and e-manage programmer, the e-01 can provide superior boost response, increased boost, warning meter functions, 3channel data-logging, and access to all the programming features provided with the latest e-manage support tool. Even when used as just a boost controller the e-01 has features to smooth out the boost curve. With both an Auto and Manual setting for both external and actuator style wastegates, the new PRofec can alter its new compact, high capacity solenoid valve via various RPM ranges if need be. 12. I picked my name at the height of the Avid Merion 'Craig David' 'Bo Selecta' fever. It doesn't seem quite so funny now. If I was changing, I'd be quite tempted by something with 'The' in front of it. Hmmm.... What'd you change yours to if you were changing it?

Passed my Bike test yesterday. First time  . 3 minors, 2 of them were unpositive lifesavers, to55er, and the other I wobbled a bit at a junction, hardly noticable. Well pleased :nana2: Just a shame I dont have a bike as yet. Almost swapped my Z for one yesterday, but think I will wait. Shame cos I used to enjoy going out on my lessons cos it was out on the bike. Gave me something to come home for (apart from the Z of course  ).

I am looking to buy datascan and the cable for my zed. Few guys on the internet selling these but was wondering if there was any interest in a group buy from folkes. The kit retails around $99 plus p&p etc but think this could come down a bit if a few folkes are after it. Before i send a few emails out just guaging interest really. (I might also have a good way round any kind of inport tax thanks to a friend in the u.s.) Just add names if your seriously interested, then i will fire a few emails out and start a GB with the exact price. Cheers all

I'm hoping to get a Longlife exhaust system with my next pay cheque but i'm still undecided as to what tailpipes to have fitted. Twin round (each side naturally), single round, twin square, oval, letter box, Jap, rolled - there's almost too much choice! I'll decide on the day when I can see the full range that they offer but I wonder if anyone had any thoughts. FYI it's a standard looking black N/A on 18's.

Anyone know where I can get a car trailer from that will fit my 300 on it? I have decided that I've spent that much on AA call outs since owning my Z that I have decided to buy my own flat bed trailer to transport the fooker to where it needs to go to get repaired. Just that we tried to load it onto a trailer before and with it having the wide arches on the @rse end it wouldn't fit!!! LOL :D
