Since swapping the lump the underneath as looked a bit....well....spacious! so I thought I would make up an ally undertray, A. to keep cack off the engine and B. to get more air into the bay. Done it in two parts....... And mounted using existing threaded holes........ Been doing the induction today as well, need some 3inch pipe and a couple of cone filters to finish-Oh! and some paint!

  7. When i went down to karens this weekend, I discovered that my main birthday present had arrived for me.................. a new 300ZX!!!!!!! I was in shock, that Karen had gone to so much trouble for me, arranging all the purchasing and delivery of the car, so that it would be waiting for me when i turned up. Alas it wasn't possible for it to be there on my Birthday, but two days later is still very special. It was sat there just waiting for me, as if no one had ever touched it, it was so clean and sparkling, just like the day it was manufactured! I would just like to thank Karen so much for this extra special present, and to go so much out of her …

Just finnished a couple of jobs on my Rover before selling it. :hyper: Haynes manual took a little geting to know it kept sending me to this chapter and that. It takes another 10minutes to find the relevant piece of infor, why oh why cann't they simply number the pages and say read pg whatever paragragh c or something, would save a lot of wasted time. But what really got my goat was the old phrase "Refitting is the reverse of removal. My bottom it is. It took twice as long and needed a second pair of hands too. :headvswal Well at least I did the jobs Replaced driverside lock, heater controls and adjusted the hand brake. And no wise cracks along the li…

have just changed my maf, cause mine fooked up all together and what a hooge difference in performance it boosts a lot better, and seems to be earlier than before aswell, and the power is all the way through the rev range, there is also the difference in pulling away from a stop, there is no hesitation at all so my maf must have been fooked since i got it lol

  14. Ok was having a bit a fun with a WRX the other day car got mega hot and the rad hoses where solid with a water boiling noise from the drivers side under the plenum. Now I've heard of problems with the small pipes under there blocking and causing poor water flow, I've also read that the plenum warming pipes can be by passed with one pipe. Has anyone else had this and can the bypass be done with the plenum in place???? Thanks in advance Craig P.s everything else has been checked there's no air in the system and my heater matrix has also been bypassed.

While out Zed spotting I saw a nice yellow one spoke to the guy and he was planning on selling wanted 4k. He was more than willing to let me see everything. Didn't speak much English but was trying his hardest to answer all my eager questions. As it was dark (I've just got back from viewing it.) He said come back in light. I realized it was Auto not Manual, but was still considering a seconded viewing when he said suddenly said "sorry, English bad, jap import," to a previously asked question. I don't think I'll go back after all now, not quite what I want maybe I'm just too picky. What with it being an import, an auto and being Yellow. But it was nice, very nice…
