Well after searching and asking Chris comes up trumps again. My baby will soon be sporting enough stopping power to make my internal organs want to leave my body through my eyes, mouth and nose. 355x32 6pot brakes that bolt strait on. Thanks Chris. Top Man yet again.

  4. Zed is running on a rad with seems to be holding up okay but its a long journey to trust it to hold together. Its being held together by 4 screws, a 30mm pipe and half a ton of epoxy resin Just replaced the handbrake cable on the min so should be okay but not as comfortable plus its a zed meet :) OR

 Quick Q - I have some mpegs on my digital camera and was wondering if its possible to burn them onto a DVD-R rather than a CD-R, so they can be played on a dvd player. Is it a software thing or just not possible? Thanks.

If you bet 30 quid on a nation to win the World Cup (Brazil ;) ) with Gamebookers you automatically get a free football shirt of any competing nation (worth 40 quid) So basically you can get your England or even Togo, Trinidad or Costa Rica shirt for 30 quid. Any if your team wins it, it's a nice little Brucie Bonus. http://www.gamebookers.co.uk/cgi-bin/intro.cgi?rid=206022 I've entered but take no responsibility for your entry, just thought id pass it on

I'm a real :smw: when it comes to car servicing etc in the UK...not used to all of it... always used to just dump the car on dad, and he sorted it out... well, the old car being a 1.4l vauxhall was pretty peanuts to service and sort out, boyfriends dad did all of it... now no offence or anything, but i dont know if i can trust him with the Z --> being a top car n all  (wow lets hope he doesn't read that bit ^ :headvswal ) What sort of garages do you guys take em to.... are their specialized places etc... or just the local up the road !?!?! (come on hampshire folk... let me in on your secret!!) :p

A motorist drove for 60 miles at speeds of 135mph after the accelerator on his BMW car jammed and his brakes failed. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/4796264.stm Surely you could slow it down with the brakes or handbrake or turn the engine off before you got doing 135mph in a 1.8 automatic?!?! Does an R reg 318 auto even do 135mph?

Well in the time my wife has had the same M reg TD Citroen Xantia ive had the following cars. Porsche 924 Porsche 944 BMW 740i My Zed 3 Vauhall Carltons and 2 Vauxhall Senators Well her car has now hit 180,000 miles and so it time for me to actually buy her a car. Well She said she wanted another Xantia as she loves em and its been fine for us, plus i can now pretty much do most jobs to em. So I brought her a newer Xantia, but in typical Marcus fashion I went for the 2.0 Turbo Petrol Version this time and not the gay diesel :) Not bad for 500 quid with Tax and Mot, Air con that works and its the Activa Model, apparently the highest corner…

  18. Hi All, 'Fraid I'm on a bit of a downer at the moment. Missed out on a bargain Korg N5 keyboard on eBay today (came with flight case, stand, headphones etc). Plus, for the money, even though it's potentially 8 or 9 years old, it's way better than anything I could buy new. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7406032639&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 Got beaten to the punch by £2 which really winds me up. Thing is it's really my fault because I bid right at the last minute and didn't put in the maximum I was willing to pay. At least if I'd done that and been beaten I'd feel it was all fair and square. But hey, you li…

My girlie and I were driving from Reading to Glasgow to see the folks. At about 4am near Warrick on the M40 I hit something massive on the motorway. :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal Natalie or I didnt even see it but it hit with a massive thump. Noticed a drop in power and knew the left indicator had smashed. Pulled over infront of another car on the hard sholder, they had also hit this thing. I reckon it was spare wheel or something cos I have black rubber scuff marks all down the side of me car. Left hand side of the bumper is wrecked, luckily the wing hasnt been damaged! Drove the the nearest services and wouldnt come on boost and had fook all power. It used 1/8…

Back in 1997 the goverment made all vehicles over 25 years old tax exempt. ONE year later they did a complete 'U'-Turn and made it so that there was no exemption for any car registered after 1/1/1973. I'm just wondering if this will ever fookin change. It's been 8 years now. FFS are they waiting for all classics to fall apart so they can fook everyone over:xxx:
