There I was minding my own business driving home from Baker Petrolite 12:10am. Got to Seal Sands roundabout, decided not to take my usual shortcut, heading towards A19 and the sky lit up about a mile to my left and a really loud rumbling roar to go with it. Flames shooting up the side of one of the cooling towers. So I decided to put my foot down and get the **** out of there as I had 20 tonne of Tolad 9137 (highly flammable liquid nos) in my tanker. Anyone else see or hear this?

Posted: Tue May 23, 2006 5:11 pm Post subject: Sunday 4th June 2006 - THE BIG JAP MEET, LEEDS! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, We (The Skyline Owners Club) will be holding a Japanese car meeting in Leeds on Sunday 4th June 2006 and would like to invite other clubs to the event in order to get to know each other and share our common interest, our cars, within the Yorkshire Area. Due to the success of the last Jap Meet we organised and the overwhelming response from other club member interested in arranging another as soon as possible we have decided the time (hopefully the weather) is right to hold…

its in saftey boost, did cross my mind after Santa Pod,no doubt det sensor.Took time out today to do few bits, and sussed out why the 80mm Greddy boost gauge not working,as i suspected Nissan had cut all the vac lines to it when engine went back in,had a right game checking it all, even wheel off to get to pipe behind splash guards, suppose they would not connect it up to aftermarket bits, and as the Greddy gauge is in bar i fitted extra gauge in psi, allthough the stock uk gauge in clocks shows +14 its sure not,its 5-6psi,crock of crap Nissan gauges sure are  knew this car felt slower than when i first had it. So anyways, got a boost controller coming, and few other bit…

Long story short, i made a guy an offer for an item on ebay on the grounds that i wanted the item earlier than the auction was due to finish. I made a good offer and we both agreed to end the auction and i would pay the cash to him. What happened was over the weekend i didnt have lots of internet access and the auction ended with someone else winning  I have sent a few messages to the guy i supposedly brought the item off asking WTF is going on but had no reply. Basically (fearing the worse!) wondering where i stand as the cash was sent via paypal ? Advise please

Evening all, well as title suggests, it's been a very successful evening, with NO set-backs! I posted the other day that I wanted to change my PC processor, and could I just copy all my programs to another hard drive and then copy them back? (Thread Here) Well thanks for all the responses, I've done it tonight! :D I'm now running a P4 3.0 Ghz (actually running at 3.2 at the moment (overclocked)) instead of my old Celeron 2.6, which to be quite honest was perfectly OK, until it came to any DVD/Movie work and then it was pants!! As it turned out I wouldn't of needed to transfer any progs, docs etc over, as the old hard drive worked as soon as I pressed the p…

What an absolute joke it is now, it doesn't even look like you can become a millionaire! I am a little bitter, 4 numbers, best ever for myself and what do I win? A miserly £28! I would have been even more annoyed to get 6 and not even get £500,000 though. It really needs better prizes.

Wow, only been in civvy street for less than 6mths. Really fell on my feet getting a great network engineers job, been working really hard to gain experience of civvy street and got a top quality report and chuck up for the first 6mths. Now the company is making several thousand people redundant!! They've offered voluntary redundance deals which people can go for , and either get realeased or refused, and once that phase is over they'll do compulsory redundancy to get rid of who they want. We're hoping that our side of things wont get effected so much as we're super busy. Can't help worrying that I could end up on a later list. I guess they'll probably get rid of a lot of…
