Hey guys, i've not been on for a while as i'm in the middle of selling my house and buying a new one. I'm going to be around here a lot over the next few months because GUESS WHAT???? While on my way to work yesterday morning 11-7-06 on my new 05 Yamaha R1 some plonker ran a red light,, drove out in front of me , i cut inside him to avoid hitting him and he clipped me anyway!! he drove into the side of me and ran me into the curb of a bus lane where my bike flipped over firing me face first into the tarmac at 30 miles an hour.. :headvswal The scumbag drove off and left me lying in a BUS LANE all broken up!!! Luckily i had the best of gear on so after a day in A & E i…

Well spent all morning at the Squash Club, well 2 hours playing and giving a coaching lesson. Come back to swop the cars around on the drive. And find there's nasty sticky tar on one of my front tyres. YUK Going to give my Zed a nice wash N wax in order to make him nice and ready for tomorrow's 'Burning Bouthmouth' only not now looking forward to the drive down due to slipping on the stairs at the Squash Club as I came out and twisting my knee. :(  One of the guys I played laughted and said "Couldn't you have done that before we played I might have stood a chance against you then" Here's hoping it will be alright for tomorrow's littl…

Has anyone fitted one of these?? reason for asking is i am doing an oil change in the morning and have one of these that i bought from getgreddy. Problem is it is a lot smaller diameter size than the normal one although the sealing end (with the o ring ) is the same size the whole filter is much slimmer. it does say its for a z32 on the box but am a bit dubious to fit a skinnier filter so has anyone fitted one and had any problems?? cheers

went to matlock yesterday then the clutch decided to fail. no pedal stiffeness whatsover, checked reservoir and it was empty. Used a locking wheelnut as a scoop and took some of the dot4 from my brake fluid and half filled the clutch reservoir with it :) pressed the clutch down and it all emptied, looked under car and big puddle. somethings broken somewhere methinks. got home by selecting 1st gear when engine was off then starting in gear and it jumps forward and presto - your moving, then 2nd and 3rd gear changes without clutch Problem is M1 has roadworks hence a lot of the time as we slowed down I put hazards on and undertook albeit it at a few mph on …

...although not on a huge amount. *Both rack bushes (on subframe) were both worn. *Nearside steering rack gaitor split *Nearside front wheel bearing. I'm glad the wheel bearing was found as I'd gone round the car and tested them for myself, but not rotated. All appeared fine, but I had noticed a funny rumbling previous to knowing of the bearing. It never varied with direction, so didn't think it was a front bearing. The two guys doing it commented on how tidy the car was and how clean the underside was. :) Kinda happy in a way...A) that not much needs doing and B) the lightly rumbling has now been found. The emissions were high, although…

Been away for the last week in Devon and Cornwall. Went for a drive one day and ended up on a beach called Duckpool(Just up the coast from Bude). Walked along the beach and ended up paddling by some rocks. Chucked my T-shirt on a rock and put my keys and camera on top of them. The wife decided to lie down and used my t-shirt as a towel. The sea started to come in quite quickly so we moved up the beach and stayed there about an hour. We got back to the car and I asked the wife for my keys. We had left them on the rock, which by this time was under about 4 foot of water. Luckily I had the forsight to put my spare keys in my wifes handbag. We went back a …

  24. Which cars give you the most stick? I’m on to my second Z, I had a auto for 2 years and now I’ve got a manual which I’ve had just over a year. I don’t have much probs with small boy racers, but if that fookers got a TDi badge on the back they’ve got to have a go. I mean what are they thinking, do they think they have super stella hyper drive or do they think ‘turbo’ means the fastest thing on the planet. The car might seem fast to them because it’s probable the fastest car they’ve been in. I once had a transit van try to race me into one lane at the traffic lights (no sh*t) So who gives you stick on the road? Paul

This new camera hasn't left my hands since Sunday, great pro-like shots for small money. Got this little fella in my next door neighbours pond earlier. You know those tiny things that seem to skate across the water, can't remember what they are called. Fuji finepix s9500 in case anyone's interested. Got the wife and kids driven mad :(
