  7. The neighbours have been doing some landscaping in their back garden for the past couple of weeks. When they started digging out the garden they disturbed a bee hive that was underground, behind their garden wall. They weren't very pleased but seemed to move on without a lot of fuss. Guess where they've found a new home....... In my fookin chimney FFS :headvswal Noticed a couple of bees drop down over the past few days but thought no more of it. Got a call at work today, saying I'd better get myself home, as half a dozen had just dropped in to the living room from the chimney. What do I do? I put the gas fire on full tits, to see if the heat w…

Council tax revaluation officers want to charge us more if we live in a nice area. That ought to mean discounts for those of us who live in rough areas. We have a huge council house in our street. The extended family is run by a grumpy old woman with a pack of fierce dogs. Her car isn't taxed or insured, and doesn't even have a number plate, but the police still do nothing. Her bad tempered old man is famous for upsetting foreigners with racist comments. A shopkeeper blames him for ordering the murder of his son and his sons girlfriend, but nothing has been proved yet. All their kids have broken marriages except the youngest, who everyone thought was ga…

Craig David & stellaZ - your posts sent me on a hunt. Here's another plane which makes the hairs on the back of the neck stand up. Talk about vertical take off (and no, it's not a Harrier). http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=0H_aYrSmc7o http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=2-sDdVkGVDs http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=4vjQe92-w_I

Was a bit bored, weathers shite, and the GP is turning into yet another procession, I had a nose though some old threads. You all talk of how the forum is policed too hard, and how you can get away with nothing, well, if there was more threads like this, I think I would spend all day laughing too much to moderate anything!! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=52696 Bring back the good old days!! :duffer: :duffer:

  19. My mum rang up a little perplexed the other day, to say that a neighbour has suffered due to the disrepair of the chimney on the roof! Anyway the yuppy neighbour has come round to have whinge at my old dear (80 years old), to say that water is leaking in from the chimney forming a a patch of damp on her bedroom wall! It turns out that when the initial property developer turned the neighbour's house into flats he knocked out the original chimney which was joined to ours on the boundry, and rendered where it joined onto our chimney. This render is coming away and it doen't look like he put any flashing where the chimneys were joined! It doen't look to me that…
