Can anyone please help me? Ive just gone and paid 1500 euros for a 18.4 inch Acer Aspire 8920G laptop thinking i could configure the English language on startup as the book is in english. But it doesnt give me that option:confused: Also as its a Spanish keyboard the @ is on the top on the same key as the number 2.How do i use it? Thanks in advance Steve

We are moving house and its a bloody nightmare.:eek: The house we are moving into has needed a bloody lot of repairs to the woodwork and walls etc. Thats what we have been doing all this week and its starting to take shape at last so we will be moving in next week. :)

After playing paintball for over 4 years, I attended my first airsoft session yesterday. It was a corporate event organised by a friend who works for fords. It was an absolute blast, don't think I've ever had as much fun playing paintball. So I decided last night that I'll be selling my paintball markers and kit and converting over to airsoft. Anyone else on here play either airsoft or paintball ?. If you've played both, which do you prefer ? If anyone wants to buy some paintball gear give me a pm and I'll let you know what I have.

Bit of a weird one. I'm getting back into my art practice and looking to do several pieces using rust as the main medium. Essentially: take an image, break it down into black and white (by that I mean pure black and white similar to some comics etc), create a template of the picture cutting out either the black or the white area, fix template over sheet of untreated steel, coat the metal that shows through the template in phos acid, leave outside for a bit (!), remove template and the finished product "should" be a picture created out of the contrast between the rust and normal metal. However, once it's done I'd need someway to "fix" the rust (and indeed the non-rust…

watching a programme at the moment and ive thught about this before, all these councillers are all old fuddy duddy's who havent got a clue, how can one old miserable old coont decide whethter or not to grant permssion for an extension, who trained them, what courses do they go on, what happens if they come in to work in a bad mood and decide not to grant any permission that day anyone know

On a side note, whenever I am at our UK office, their warehouse guys all ride round in Nissan forklifts. Nissan make vast ranges of products for the transport and heavy industrys, but always puts a smile on my face seeing these. on of our array of cats has broken the ball end of his hip joint. He's a cockey little shite but a lovely kitty. vet says ball of socket end has to be removed for him to recover properly. :cry: will know tomorrow that he has no nerve damage. So far we are sure he hasn't or any internal bleeding. he's only 2 but used up about 5 of his 9 lives so far

chewed 6 of the slats on my blinds, they are metal and they have been chewed to smithereens, also bits are missing, anymore of this and he is going back in the cage when im out lol
