Evening guys and girls. Just wondered if anyone lives in or near Barnsley? I've won something on eBay that is collect only. I'm hoping someone can collect it and forward it to me if possible. I'll pay for your time, post and packing etc. Thanks in advance, Daffy.

Hi Guys Had a bit of a hole under the car so decided that before any welding i'd clean it up using an angle grinder with a with brush attachment. like so. So away i go, Now i have the safety glasses, use welding gloves, safety first. however when the wire snags and jerkes the tool off the face of work and throws it back into my chest after hitting my elbow. The tool had a click on button so the bloody thing is twisting my shirt into a bundle which stops the grinder. cant reach the switch because im still jammed under the car, so i mange to reach the plug and yank it out...... phew! still alive, now if it hadn't caught my shirt i dare not imagine what it would have …

Watching the final two laps of the Grand Prix and suddenly the house shakes with a low fast fly past of the reds :hyper: Ran outside but they were long gone but June was upstairs and seen them fly past the window. They were doing a show at Belfast Harbour for the Tall Ships leaving Belfast. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-33399065

  16. So who got hit by them last night then? It was pretty exciting here. I woke up to thunder and lighting, once I realised it was bad I admitted defeat and got up. This would have been about 11-12. So I went to find the dog who was hiding under the dinner table, he hates thunder. Dog secure onto the cat. Found a wet rat under his sleeping tree and dragged him in, the wife then towel dried him and he turned back into a cat. Again secure and happy. What about the chickens she says, I reply just have to wait till morning. By this point the lightweight summer jacket I had on was drenched, I'm talking I was bath tub wet within less than two minutes. I needed to check the house, c…

Hopefully there's someone down south in the airforce, I would like to go a station visit, or better still talk to an amm. As that's what I'm currently applying for, I want to go into avionics, It seems to be really hard to get a visit, I know security is very high at the moment, but the recruiter said it's a good idea. Any insight anyone could give me would be appreciated. Thanks ash.

Before computer games we made our own racing machines :hammer: A few pieces of wood a set of pram wheels a hand full of staples and a big bolt. Plus I remember burning the hole in the wood with a red hot poker so the bolt would drop threw it:devil2: This photo brought it all back and look at the fear in the faces of the drivers lol no brakes and steer with your feet if you had a rope you were lucky. Cuts and bruises made you a hero. Those were the days:yes:

.......Not for the Zed, but the SLK. For some reason, MB wheels can have the nasty habit of showing corrosion around the centre holes - and I had noticed a couple of spots appearing. I happened to be near the main dealers the other day and popped in to bring it to their attention - and what do you know, they have agreed to replace them under warranty! So I now have 4 brand new shiny AMG alloys winging their way from Germany - result! Richard:cool:
