I moved house at the beginning of the month and promptly ordered BT Broadband. Line connected within a week and modem sent a week after. Now, I connected it all up, booted up PC and it couldn't find it. Kept refreshing network connection and eventually it found it. Took ages for it to accept the WEP key and actually lock onto the modem. But it just couldn't keep connection. Eventually after a number of days, I actually managed to get onto BB and all was well. Last week, I went away for 4 days and just went round the house turning all the electric appliances off. Came back, fired it all up and would my broadband work? Would it hell! All the correct lights on…

The last couple of days been drivin around in my Zed and some the speed humps I`ve come across must be higher than others .My car hasnt been lowered as far as know yet on some it still catches no matter how slow I crawl over them.Is there standard height for humps and as anyone ever claimed off council for the damage they may do to the underneath of there car. wolveszx

I Have just been making a coffee, and whilst stood in the kitchen looking out of the window, I noticed some kids playing. Nothing wrong with that you may be thinking! Apart from, 2 of the lads (Approx 10yrs old) were dressed in combats with balaklava's on, holding plastic toy AK47's. :eek: And to put the cherry on the cake.....their 3rd friend had his hands tied behind his back and they were marching him around. It gave me a shocking sickly feeling tbh. :mad:

been a month since i was on any MMORPG..... luckily i did not lose my wife but after spening 38 hours a week at work i spent a further 60 hours at home on games like wow, ffxi and warhammer......... Some of you might know that I ref ice hockey, I have been working in one of the senior leagues (not the top one tho) some of last season and all of this season. I got a call yesterday inviting me to officiate at the finals weekend in Coventry this weekend. Basically they select who they consider to be two of the top ref's to do one semi each then one to do the final and the other to do the U18 final. So I will ref 2 of the top 4 teams in the English National League, with a bit of luck it means I have a chance of moving up next season to the 2nd highest league in this country!

Anybody had a chance to catch Clint Eastwoods latest film ?? Gran Torino ? Strong, normally used racial language against the Japs. Japanese if you are a twat thats easilly offended ! I consider most stuff quite mediocre, or even crap, ie fast and furious, but this is a great film !! Bit of a twist for the ending, but old fashioned and bang up to date at the same time. I got 3 red lights come up on my xbox, looked up the issue and saw a video to repair it on youtube, basically you are putting spacers behind the circuit board to make all the contacts touch again (i think) and the spacers are 2 pennies taped together!!! Thought.............it'll never work but i tried it and hey presto !!! It worked. I'm back up and running :dance:

Bit of an obscure question but I'm hoping someone might still be up and about that can shed some light on it! Was looking at purchasing 2 monitors off Ebay from a private seller who deals regularly in computer gear. The monitors are currently in the UK but were originally bought (in a batch of 4 apparently) in Germany and as such have an EU rather than specifically UK manufacturer warranty. As the seller has stated they won't accept returns or do refunds if the units are faulty, the warranty is reasonably important (although I have a sneaking suspicion that Acer, the manufacturer, don't accept dead pixels as reasons for repair/refund but heigh-ho :rolleyes:). fokin ell, droped my watch at the jewellers and went and did a bit of shopping, went back anhour later and got a bill for £35 quid, i nearly fell over, i have a citizen eco drive (quite a nice watch) and it has a rechargable battery but they fook up if you dont wear your watch to charge the battery, will be wearing it a bit more than normal ive heard of a device you can put your watch on to mimic the movement of your arm to keep them charged, anyone know what it is or where to get one

fully charged battery goes flat on my escort within a few hours of being stood doing nothing. I think its the alarm immobiliser thingy. Anyone know if this can be disconnected by a fuse or anything? it's a l reg mk5(i think) not the red key type immob the older one. still looking all over the net haven't found anything so far

They are traders on ebay but judging by the feedback they are not very reliable when it comes ot the cars they sell. fast_performance_cars is their username, they are somewhere in West Midlands, possibly Moseley. Does anyone know of them? A friend is considering buying one of their cars and I have warned him of my suspicions but still seems intent on trusting them.
