They're made up from ex-members of The Undertones (yep, those Undertones, that originally were fronted by warbley Irish legend Fergal Sharkey!) and they've been going since the 80's with a few breaks here and there. Well, they're about to start their UK tour and, bizarrely, my band are supporting them on the opening night at the O2 Academy 2 in Birmingham, next Wednesday, July 1st! You can check 'em out here: http://www.myspace.com/thatpetrolemotion and us out here: http://www.myspace.com/thisburningage Apparently they're a fantastic live band (to be fair, they should be good at it by now! :D) and have quite a loyal following so the show should be a blast! …

If you had a chance to go back to a concert you had seen in the past, what or who would it be, and why???? For me, it would be a choice of 2. 1. Queen - kind of magic tour - wembley - to see the large inflatibles again. 2. Guns and roses - Milton keynes to see the lady next to me strip off again.

Since moving house, I've decided not to have Sky re-installed as I don't watch a huge amount of TV. Got one of the digi boxes I had in the old place, but unfortunately will not pick up any digital signal what so ever. The TV receiver though currently picks up all 5 terrestrial channels perfectly. Anyone know if I need a special larger aerial suitable for digital TV or do you think a different box is required?

Got this from a workmate today. It had me in stiches, specially the second one QUOTE From: David Thorne Date: Thursday 21 May 2009 10.16am To: Helen Bailey Subject: Pets in the building Dear Helen, Thankyou for your letter concerning pets in my apartment. I understand that having dogs in the apartment is a violation of the agreement due to the comfort and wellbeing of my neighbours and I am currently soundproofing my apartment with egg cartons as I realise my dogs can cause quite a bit of noise. Especially during feeding time when I release live rabbits. Regards, David. From: Helen Bailey Date: Thursday 21 May 2009 11.18am To: …

My wife or me ?? 25 years married today, so I reckon we both deserve a medal ! How she has put up with me I`ll never know ! As she has mentioned a few times today, on the wedding day I was driving out my street in a Cortina, with a potential buyer, which I was trying to sell, as the wedding car was coming up the street to pick me up !:D Old habits never change. Away for a run up the coast and a bite to eat somewhere. Alan................................

Urgently in need of some help/advice or, if you've got the time, for someone to cast their eye over a print project for me if it's at all possible. For those that don't know, I'm coming to the end of what's been a very long road in getting my first album written, performed, mixed, mastered and now printed and pressed...and it's at this final hurdle I've hit a snag. I thought my artwork submissions were to spec but I've just found out there's an issue with the design for the 4 Colour Lithographic On-Body Print for the CD itself: the black I've used has come out virtually grey in the proofs and the printing house has strongly suggested I use Pantone colours (it's essen…

Had a few hours gap between meetings today. So I've ponked my ass on a bench by the beach at Southsea (Hampshire). Sat here with my laptop open soaking up the sun! Perfect temperature here too. 28. Have a white Magnum in one hand. Hope you lot are having a nice day in your offices! If it's like this the weekend after next, I feel a random jaunt to France coming along in the Z. I need to rekindle the love! That is all.

Not sure if anyone remembers some of the Porsche UK publicity photos. They often use the numberplate 911 HUL....as below. I saw coming out of central London this afternoon a brand new 911 Turbo with 911 HUL number plate. Does anyone know if this is the Porsche UK Promo tag....or if they have any further info about it?
