I have just returned from 12 days in France, I flew to Girona, Spain and drove over the border to the campsite. Anyways her indoors booked the car through Hertz and Easyjet who we flew with. The basic insurance with the car for 12 days had an excess of 600 Euro's, to which via Atlas Direct I took out a policy for excess protection which covers £2k for under £30. When I arrived in Girona on the 28th June when I got the car the guy who done the booking automatically printed out my account with Super Cover insurance added which cost 150 euro's. well the new owner came, took one look and loved it, quick test drive and an exchange of monies and documents and its gone one happy buyer, one sad but happy seller sod's law though, new owner jumps in and goes to start it and nothing, tries 3 times and nothing, i walk towards the car and it fired into life, never in 5 years has it not started and it does it when its sold anyhoo's, end of an era, now what do i fancy next lol

Does anyone have a mk4 golf... and if so do they have their owners handbook anywhere? Could just do with an underbonnet shot from one, or if anyone knows where do I put water (or tell my lass where to put water) in one, straight into the rad? Hi All, Thinking of buying the wife a SLK in black but the paintwork is really covered in swirl marks. The owner has agreed a sizeable discount to get them sorted but obviously I want to do it myself. They are only really visible in direct sunlight and the car looks really good when your not up close!. I don't want to commit unless I know I can sort it. Cheers, C T.
