Is it just my settings or have the address/location disappeared on the sellers items? I tried looking through personal settings, cant seem to find anything. Look under the user/sellers name, under that is sellers other items etc and usually a location. I find the location a useful option to have, especially if its a pick up only auction. Can anyone shed any light or have i just missed something. Cheers Graham

I need to order a pair of suspension spacers from USA. I can either get one pair for £55 delivered, or 2 pairs for £100 delivered with the view to selling the spare pair on to make some money back. But how much am I likely to pay in total including customs etc? Any help would be appreciated! thankZZZ :wheelchair:

Rant time  I sold the car over a month ago and got the MOT/tax sorted as stated in the ad, the guy had been all keen and then strung things out for a week and vanished. I had to cancel the sale and in that time another guy who wanted bought another car :mad2: So put it back on a few ago and it sold again 2 weeks ago, even put in the ad only bid if serious as been messed around once. The guy kept in touch for the 1st week and said he was serious and didn't want to mess me about like the last guy. Guess what, he's now vanished as well, really p**sed off :mad: this has happened again. Why do these :xxx: do it, I have a mortgage and bills to pay which I …

A few weeks ago we noticed the ceiling was stained in the dining room below the bathroom, then it started sagging so I pierced a hole in it and out came a few litres of water lol. After removing the bath panel only find it was hiding a multitude of sins, there were leaky pipes and towels shoved down there so seems like an old problem that has raised its head again. Anyways tracked the leak down to cracks in the grout so spent fahookin ages scraping the old shite out and put fresh grout in. Covered it over and kept it dry for 72hrs. Looked today and the friggin new grout has cracked in the upper line of the tiles directly above the bath! am I doing somethin…

Hi All This is my first time in starting a thread so i'm a thread virgin. On Tuesday I came out of my local shop to get back in my car. I went onto the road side of the car to get in the drivers side and saw a little blue mini coming towards me. I didnt open the door but waited thinking it would just drive by as there was nothing else on the road. The next thing I remember was coming round with three or four people around me. The driver of the mini had clipped the back of my car and hit me sending me over her bonnet and clipping her roof. I was told this by the lollypop lady who saw it all and tried to stop her with her stick, but she had carried on. I was given th…

I was in waitng for a couple of recalls to be done on my car (Mitsi dealers). Had the pleasure of having to wait for 3 hours (told it would be 90 minutes max) and could over hear the service guy ringing customers to "advise" them on what's wrong with their cars. The worst had to be him calling a lady and telling her the problem for her car low on power is where the throttle cables goes through to the engine is stuck solid. She will need the throttle boddies replacing at a charge of £695 + VAT for parts and he'll have to get back to her on labour. Surely some carb cleaner and a toothbrush would clean up any throttle boddies!!! She gave him the go ahead cos he said he'd ord…

MeisterR have a feature on SpeedHunters on our sponsored Drag Civic MeisterR have been working to develop a "Drag Specific" suspension setup for the Civic / Integra. We alter the suspension length to allow the rear to be "jack up" to reduce movement. Also have specific spring rate and damping rate for drag purposes. The car is almost ready and will be great to see it in action next year! SpeedHunters Feature: http://speedhunters.com/archive/2010/10/26/car-spotlight-gt-gt-rms-drag-civic.aspx

I have been thinking of moving house recently, so I have been catching up with the jobs that need doing. Today I have spent 4 hours removing two 3kw elements from the immersion heater as one has split and the other was full of scale in the electrical enclosure. I went to tool station bought two 11" elements, It took a hour to drain down and then I fought getting the origanal elements out for a further 2 hours, a hour to put it all back together again and test. Anyway all done now, not that I will be using the immersion heater. ££££ far to much wonger to heat water with that. But its there just in case, and its another job, jobed:sweatdrop: Allan

Mmmm. A 1985 288 GTO, very nice. ...claims to be the world's fastest Ferrari with a 275.4 mph run at Bonneville! The motor has been replaced by a 540 GM big block and two turbos. Some people have mentioned that as it doesn't have a Ferrari engine then it isn't a 'real' Ferrari. What do you think?
