Fancied something to entertain me whilsty the zed is ill (cancer in the turbos and engine). Its all there ready to go back together, just taking time. I wanted something fun, Cheap, not too slow and something i could do a track day in. A few car crossed my mind, 306 GTI, 172 clio, but it needed to be RWD! Mx5, S13.. Didn't really want a turbo. Decided on an MR2 because of the 750MC racing on motors TV. I wanted to spend about a grand, but wanted a Rev 3 as it looks better and im told is a better engine. 174BHP and RWD. Bid on a few on ebay, but at the last minute they were going well over a grand. £1500 for one with 120k miles, £1100 for one with 170k…

Got the chance of tickets for a gig, choice of the Manchester Arena, or the O2 in London. Anybody got any views on which is best ? Would be looking for a hotel for an overnight stay as well, Premier Inn or such like. Will be flying down from Glasgow to Manchester, or Gatwick, depending ? Is the travel to either arena from the airports mentioned easy or what ? All suggestion much appreciated, Cheers, Alan.........

Julia and I are off to Cornwall next Thursday - at least I thought we were. When leaving the hotel last January, I booked a week in June and another 5 days from 30th December. I double checked next week's booking when paying my bill in June and all was well. But tonight, I gave the hotel a call to see it we could arrive a day early as Julia is also off next week, only to find they have somehow lost my reservation:angry: Apparently the hotel is now full as they "changed their computer system" recently and since my booking was not also supported by a written record it did not get carried over so they've booked my room to someone else. To say I'm extremely ang…

The Corolla's only fault (apart from being ugly as fook and slow lol) is that its only central locking rather than remote, which is a pain in the ass with a nipper/shopping etc. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UNIVERSAL-REMOTE-CENTRAL-LOCKING-UPGRADE-KIT-2010-MODEL-/230451013865?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item35a7f368e9 Any idea how difficult/expensive it would be to get someone to fit a kit like this? No chance I could do it myself but would be willing to pay if its not too expensive. I just hate having to physically lock the car....

It takes 7 seconds for food to pass from mouth to stomach. A human hair can hold 3kg. The length of a penis is 3 times the length of the thumb. The femur is as hard as concrete. A woman's heart beats faster then a man's. Women blink 2x as much as men. We use 300 muscles just to keep our balance when we stand. A woman has read this entire text. A man is still looking at his thumb. :whistling:
