Right, ideas please. Ive got 2 kids and the focus just isn't big enough for the weekend, shopping, pushchairs etc. Its great on fuel (TDCI, 50mpg) so i dont want to sell it. In the week, with the missis driving it around, its perfect. I had my van for work, which went yesterday. An idea ive got, is to buy a Land Rover Disco. A nicer one, so i can use it for work, then at the weekend with the family. That way we keep the focus. Another idea, is Sell the focus and buy a Zafira. Will do for the family, i'll buy something else for work. I dont NEED 7 seats, but i go out with my parents on a sunday, so would be usefull. Any other ideas??

Been having a look through some of the dyno sheets in the members areas and trying to trace the owners and cars so I can see what mods they're running. But most of them are now just 'registered users' who havn't been active since 1832 (slight exageration perhaps). Should there not be some kind of automatic elimination of members after a certain period of inactivity? I don't mean send round a hitman with a silencer - but something that detects when people are no longer active members. I would say that 12 months grace is more than adequate for someone to log in once in a while. Its just that some of the best names have been hogged by people no longer associated wi…

Decided not to re-insure the Z this year and concentrate on doing some work around the house and garden. I have a drive through garage attached to the house and bring the car through to wash. At the moment theres a concrete slab (was the base of the old garage). Im unsure what to do, I want an area for washing the car and also to make the garden look good. I dont know if to lay flags on the concrete, ive seen an expoxy resin finish, or to dig out the concrete and either, block pave or consider concrete imprint. Ive considered doing it in two sections, depending on price, so the area for washing can be different to the rest of the drive to the sectional garage. …

.....Women that is???? I think I've asked this on here before, but am I the only person who thinks that women have a habit of ruining the nice clean look inside our cars:hammer: I know I'm a little pedantic (well overly obsessive TBH:whistling:) about the cleanliness of my cars' interiors; but why is it that I can drive the car every day for a week and not make a mess inside. But yesterday Julia is in the passenger seat for all of 1.5 hours and the carpet looks like a group of ramblers has trampled through the car....:mad2: It's the same when I go to lunch with my friend at work - she's in the car for 10 minutes tops and it's footprint city...... I thi…

Not like that :blushing: I mainly work as a carpenter, but also have a small painting and decorating firm, but my first job in the building game was as a landscape gardener. Haven't laid a patio in years but after doing some interior work for a customer they asked if i'd price a patio for them. Price agreed, this is the result. BEFORE: AFTER: I'm well chuffed with it and the customer is over the moon. The one thing working in the building trade has going for it is job satisfaction. At the end of most weeks you can look at your work and think 'I did that'.

Ok image quality isn't the greatest as it was taken with the iphone. finally finished my home cinema, with a HD 1080i projector and it looks effing amazing at night with a 82" screen, it will go bigger but i would need a longer distance between the projector and the wall its being projected onto. (42" plasma can just been seen at the bottom of the picture), image quality at that size is still bloody awesome due to the 1080i you out put to it. currently wired up to my PC But movies are awesome at that size at night. Now just need to get some darker curtains for daytime use and get my self a electric Projector screen, then happy days.

Seve Ballesteros dies aged 54!! Just read it now and cant believe it! Used to love watching him play when I was a kid. What a class act in his day! The word 'legend' is given too freely these days but I would say he was one! RIP

"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." - Martin Luther King, Jr
