I am writing to confirm an earlier communication that we have taken a policy decision that ********** will not produce or send Christmas cards this year, neither corporately nor on behalf of individual parts of the organisation (such as sites or BGs). This is aligned with the practice in many other international organisations and overcomes the issues of handling international clients with differing religious beliefs. Furthermore, it releases funds for more focused and cost effective marketing activity. The savings will qualify as a contribution to Structural Cost Reduction. I would be grateful if you would relay this message to your teams in order to avoid confusion later…

I saw the Greenpeace ship, The Rainbow Warrior, moored up in Cardiff Bay today. Went over to have a look and I have NEVER seen so many huge beards and home made jumpers in one place. I must say what a crock of shit. There where hardly and interesting cars there. Yes a few! Nissan stand, full of Micras and Premieras, no new Z no Skyline current or new, I know they where there last year as concepts but wouldnt of it been good to see one there considering they decided to release it into this country. The new MG was very nice, and we where lucky enough to see it when there where few people in. Ford stand, nothing! The Focus RS looks exactly the same as the normal Focus. You could also play spot the fake rally cars cos there where lots of them about. You can tell the fakes cos they had 205 or 225 tyres on, considering the rules say, 200 max size!!!…
