Well, thanks to JeffTT for lookin over Pete's motor, I bought it. My first Z. Its a 91, UK. manual, Guards red, twin turbo and I am chuffed to bits. This is not a request for help or advice (yet) I just had to tell someone. Cheers

I am 15 days away from ordering a Zed from Japan. I have found two examples: 1)Blue Manual non-turbo 70k miles exterior is mint interior is good -ish T-bar 2)Red Automatic non-turbo 70k miles exterior is good apart from the n/s/f wing where the colour is faded interior in MINT 70k miles T-bar The cars have exactly the same price. I wanted to go for the auto(my left knee gets knackered easily), until i read about automatic gearbox failures, and i'm having second thoughts. Zed spotted sunday morning in Birchington. I was 3 cars behind in me silver supra.

Anyone see this tonight. this week a guy called Phil Dean was faking to be a racing driver. I've never seen such a knob in all my life. I swear if I ever see that guy I'm gonna punch him in the nose LMAO !!!!!

Come on then Glen, I like many, are getting tired of the Skyline digs so be constructive and offer an honest comparison between the Zed and your Skyline. Purchase price? Running costs? Driver involvement? Image? Insurance? I'm serious as I would consider an R33 as a replacement for my Zed. Although Ali (my other half) hates the look fo them.

No, not the lame car program on ITV. Although I have always loved the looks of the Z, and it does turn heads at bus stops etc (and get kids saying "what'llitdomister?") I've never had any joy with the opposite sex on account of it.... till now (there was a thread a while ago about this I'm sure) Just been chatted up by the PRETTIEST little 21 year old Lithuanian girl, who used my car as the conversation opener (limited though coz her english aint as good as what mine is) She works in the same building as me but apparently has not had the nerve to talk to me because I'm the boss (aaahhhhhh...) Seeing her this weekend. YEAH!:D :D

Just got a text message from the person having the mob number one digit different to mine saying "Hi! I'm your textdoor neighbour!" An advert in the latest EVO caught my eye, on the inside back cover was an advert for Vredestein Tyres, offering 2 'sports' tyres designed by Giugiaro. I personally, love the look of the Eagle F1 DSG3, but they are also an exceptional tyre, coming first in the EVO group tyre test last year and from personal experience, they have performed very well offering a high level of grip under most weather conditions, except snow, where they are dreadful, in addition to offering a good level of comfort and wear rate, the D3s apparently being better in this catagory than my old D2s, I shall wait and see about that one. TUSCAN DRIVER JAILED Tuesday 11th March Six months for dangerous driving whilst testing a Tuscan A 45 year old businessman has been jailed for six months for his part in an horrific accident whilst test driving a Tuscan Speed 6. York Crown Court heard how Simon Conder was out in the Tuscan and during the course of his test drive followed an Audi which was overtaking slower cars.
