General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Finally after nearly a month sat on my drive, the car has gone to Option Motorsport, silverstone to have the new turbos fitted supplied by Smithy and to have the rad re-cored. They hopefully start work thursday and all should be completed by the weekend if everything goes well, so judging by my luck, I will see the car the weekend after!!!!!:D

I am about to embark on bringing a car accross from a breakers yard in japan, can anyone tell me any thing about what i should expect to pay to ship it back, what duty i would expect to pay and what does registering it entail, it all seems as though i could easily be ripped off as im quite green at the mo, any advice would be greatly recieved thanks gavo

Ok, so who do YOU think are the worst people on the road? Just recently I've been flashed at, beeped at etc even people swerving at me, because I overtake them - if they are gonna sit at 30mph in a 60 zone, I AM going past! So why do they flash? These are the ones that get my vote. These people are just damned dangerous on the roads - I think the police should be able to do something about these people. So who gets your vote then??? Went down last night to Southend, first time. lots of great cars - it was good. But there was one Zed there - (I think) blue,N/A, 2 seater, exhausts/rear spoiler, f/spoiler slightly damaged, standard black leather seats and tweed stuff interior with a few after market gauges. The young guy had bought it about a month ago from what he said was a Chinese guy who he didn't know his name. So question does anyone recognise the car??? He didn't know much about the ZX. Sadly as someone else pointed out on this forum, our beautiful Zed is being used as another simple boy racer outfit. Geoff.

on my way to dads on sat morn at 10.10 going towards meopham,spotted a cool looking black z with mid spoiler? going towards A2,London link anyone here?u were past before i could signal. saw yet another silver zed in stratford at about 7.30pm on thursday .... i just looked gobsmacked (as usual) all i remember was he had no big spoiler (bloody hopeless i know) mmmm must get the hang of seeing zed, reacting, noting down reg , or even waving.... me i just gape, get all excited and grin like an idiot after they have gone past.....

Last night Ralf and Micheal Schumacher's mum died and they are still going to race. I dont really like them, I like Ralf more than Micheal, but you still have to admire them for still racing. I think emotional scenes if they get 1st and 2nd. Stuart

This evening at about 6.00, driving down the A20 through Bearsted towards Ashford ... Sexy looking Pearl Yellow Z, with a wild kit ...
