Sometimes it DOES take a Rocket Scientist!! (true story) Scientists at Rolls Royce built a gun specifically to launch dead chickens at the windsheilds of airliners, and military jets all travelling at maximum velocity. The idea is to simulate the frequent incidents of collisions with airbourne fowl to test the strength of the windshields. American engineers heard about the gun and were eager to test it on the windshields of their new high speed trains. Arrangements were made, and a gun was sent to the American engineers. When the gun was fired, the engineers stood shocked as the chicken hurled out of the barrel, crashed into the shatterproof shield, s…

Being unfortunately a smoker I have just come across the latest warnings on the packs "smoking can cause a painful death", "smoking can kill you", "smoking can cause impotence", all big black letters on a white background and unmissable. Now I don't really have a problem with the truth so I'm not complaining, however I have a child of reading age and don't want her reading this stuff therfore I am very careful about where my fags are. This is the second part of the post, to the peeps on this forum who make shiny metal bits for Z's I confidently predict an upsurge in demand for that long gone accessory the 'cigarette case', remember them?, I see an opportunity for nice c…

Been trying to get classic insurance for my car, so far the only one I got is Firebond for £868 which is not as good as I was expecting, considering my quote for normal cover from A-Plan was £850  Tried a few other places and refused classic because I am not 25. WTF has my age got to do with my cars age? Im not the thing that is meant to be the classic, the car is! So why do I have to be 25? I may try A-Plan but I think they say that is has to be garaged, and how many garages can fit a Z in? Not many and ours has no chance. Any suggestions people? Stuart

OUT TO DINNER MATHEMATICS This is pretty neat how it works out. DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST It takes less than a minute....... Work this out as you read. Don't cheat and read the bottom until you've worked through it! This is fun! 1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have dinner out. (try for more than once but less than 10) 2. Multiply this number by 2 …

Must be time to fill her up and take her out for a spin. So time to put the big grin on and get used to her again...:D

I can get a rear spoiler like this? It looks like I might need to change mine and I quite like this look, I'm not a fan of hi-level 'picnic trays'. :D Is it the OE MkII? Any ideas as to how much it would cost? Has anyone on here got one and could send me some detail pics showing how/where it attached to the rear of the hatch? and yes, I know it's a SWB, found it here the owner is in high school in the US, thank f'k that there aren't many 17 yr olds with Zeds in this country! A Husband Shopping Centre has opened where a woman can go to choose a husband from among many men. It is laid out in five floors, and the men increase in positive attributes as the shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catch. As you open the door to any floor you may choose a man from that floor, but if you go up a floor, you cannot go back down, except to exit the building. So, a woman goes to the shopping centre to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door says: Floor 1: These men have jobs and love kids. The woman reads the sign: "Well that's better than not having obs, or not loving kids, but I wonder what's further up?" So up…

Got some bad news yesterday, my mate (who was driving the 200 when we crashed) got rushed into hospital over the weekend due to pissing blood then collapsing:eek: He's out now and on antibiotics and painkillers. Apparently he got hit in the back by the door in the crash and it damaged one of his kidneys. On a happier note we've found out that the 200 isnt a write off, and just needs around £800-900 of tlc to get it running again.

My Mum-in-Law is with us after tripping, falling face down and breaking both of her wrists. Just a month ago she slipped backwards, fell on her arse and crushed a vertebrae! Basically its osteoporosis big time. BUT my Mum has fallen over as well and apart from the same sort of brusing is OK. Why? Well it turns out that my Mum has been taking Calcium suppliment for at least 50 years – but my Mum-in-Law has not, (despite being told 20 years ago that it was necessary after falling down stairs and breaking one wrist). Please please please could all you female zeders start or continue to take Calcium supplements. I know that my tale is anechdotal – not stat…
