Well, since the zed has managed to accumulate a load of swirls in her 20 yr old paint work and having stocked up on a few detailing bits and a new rotary I though that it was time to practice on the old scoob before i let myself loose on the zed. So... the car before i started: First i had to wash her, so with the trusty 2 bucket method, I went over the car..... The colour of the water was sooo black that i instantly washed her again. It was at this point that i started to clay the car since I hadn't done so since i bought it...... Well i cannot believe the crap that came off... I ended up using enough clay for 3 cars!!! and I won't be using it ag…

I need to get the above so I can laugh at my mate when I thrash him at GT5. I've had a look on ebay but was thinking that I don't want to be spending a fortune on them. Are the £10 ones up to the job?

I'll soon be selling my bobtail range rover and my pearl white NA 300zx, one will pay off debts and one will go towards a new toy lol  I think I'll end up getting another Pulsar GTi-R. I had one 7 years ago and it was such an impressive car, very fast and gripped like mad. Plus they are now covered by classic insurance on a limited mileage policy so cheaper to keep. Plus it'll fit in the garage easier lol. Something like this: Sure I must have started a craze with laguna splitters on them. No-one had one fitted when I had mine, now every other gtir has one  The question is though, is a bit greedy having a GTi-R and a 300zx twin turb…

Have managed to reduce my total kerb weight by about 7kg from Jan 1st. By being on weight-watchers  Not trying to plug weight watchers but feeling pretty happy with my stage 1 weight reduction. Must be the equivalent of adding a couple of bhp.

I can never repay them but will do what I can. Please help us, these guys saved my dad's life yesterday. They receive no funding from the government, give what you can even the cost of a pint or a litre of fuel! http://www.justgiving.com/SFS-Performance-WelshAirAmbulance Mods, any chance of this being a sticky for a week or two!

Hi, A friend asked me to look at his sisters heating today, the downstairs rads are not right. The two larger ones at the front (furthest from the boiler) just don't heat up and the 2 smaller ones take an age to warm up. I'm thinking both sludge and balancing as the flow pipework up to the rads gets hot but the rad just takes for ever. I tried shutting down rads and trying to force the hot water round the radiators but still so slow to heat up. Pump is already turned up to max. I wouldn't say the upstairs rads are brilliant either.......... It's a conventional system. Any ideas on things to try next? Cheers Vijay
