Picked this up off the SXOC site , might be worth taking the time to answer these questions before its too late. found on GTROC !! DVLA trying to legislate against modding ! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/s...ead.php?t=24969 The DVLA are putting together a paper to tighten up the SVA test and make it apply to more cars, I.e modded ones, if yu put on a kit, SVA test, if you do an engine swap, SVA test, If you lower it etc... basically modding will become a thng of the past, as will rb25 implants, and all the other cool stuff we get up to. OK, I have a question this time: Why do intercoolers cost so much more than raditators / oil coolers? Are they fundamentally so different so as to justify being so much more? Just one of the many random things running through my head this afternoon.

  15. Everyone has reason to gripe for one reason or another at one person (or organisation) or another. We come home after a day of not being able to complain about all the things that wind us up, then come to this BBS (or any other) and realise that all the same rules still apply here! Annoying or what? I ain't been round here for a while but reading back over a few notorious recent threads, especially those in the private forums I still get the impresion that some folk are getting a bit too involved in BBS politics and forgetting the real reason we are all members here. Moderation stinks, but then again so does any form of social control. Think about it: Last year …

Been for a bit of a drive in the Z tonight, great drive, lots of looks, then reversing through gates at the side of the house, caught my new wings west bumper and ripped it from its mountings on the drivers side. Managed to get it basically back into shape, but two mounting holes were ripped. I guess with a couple of washers should be back to normal. Anyhow its over to Phil at C and S Woods next week, hopefully he can work his magic. Going for a drink, pepsi max of course! Barry.

Whats everybodies opinions on the various light conversions available from the Z Centre? I'm not a huge fan of the japanese boy racer/fast and the furious style body kits and wanted something a little more understated that updates the look of the 300 a little, was thinking '99 spec front bumber and either the Venom style rear lights (coming in a 4 light set soon apparently) or the ZC011A 4 light set. Wasnt sure about the LED lights, was a bit concerned they may be a little bit too "I got my upgrades from halfords for my citreon saxo.." what do you think?

I need a big big big favour off someone up Newcastle way :) I have just procured a cracking deal on an engine, but before I go up to pick it up I'd really like someone to hear it before it's dismantled from the car and let me know if it's a good 'un! There'd be a few :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: in it & some shekels for your time :) In fact if someone was coming down from Newcastle to 'darn sarf' in a works truck/van in the next couple of days and fancied droppping it off to me/baggins Oxfordshire/Gloucestershire I'm sure we could come to some kind of monetary arrangement :D   Failing that I'll have to hire a van/people carrier &…
