Hi all! Pretty much like the title states ... at our new property (rural) mobile phone reception (Vodafone in particular) is dubious at best and non existent at worst. I've heard of signal jammers (such as "illegally" used at certain cinema's and hospitals) but does anybody know if a signal booster exists. I am not falling for the thin magnetic strip "stick on" types as advertised on ebay and other stores but would like something that would enhance the existing signal and broadcast that throughout the property. I've spoken to our new neighbours and they would be willing to chip in if we could get a device that broadcasts the signal around the neighbourhood. You'd pro…

As the thread title says really. I have never used a polisher on any of my cars but some people say they are really good and much better than doing it by hand. The ones out now apparently do not cause swirl marks and you get a fantastic finish, SO .. anyone used one? I am just talking about the general ones here fellas, not the ones that heat up the paint and allow blending like bodyshops use. Are they worth using and more importantly are they safe? Cheers Chris P

  20. Just thought I'd post this picture :( My bonnet wouldn't open but I could hear the cables trying to pull the release mechanism. Only way through was throught the headlamp panel  I removed the intake bits and accessed and undid the release catch assembly and with the help of a mate with small hands managed to loop the nobble on the end on the cable back onto the crappy bits that hold the nobble in place. Anyone attempting this - wear gloves as the headlamp panel is made of fibreglass which itches a lot. I wont put the headlamp panel on parts for sale list lol :D I have kept the zed badge though, might go on my wall somewhere  C…

Hi guys the timing on this is TBC however, we will be offering a wheel refurb service soon, in a range of finishes. Prices are dependant upon the finish required but standard refurbs will be around 30.00 per wheel for club members. This does not include postage or tyre removal, so as per most alloy refurb people you will need to supply the wheels with tyres removed. If anyone would be interested please let me know, as the usual price to other people out of the club will be 50-60 per wheel. Cheers Steve

Anyone done a rally day at all! had an...............experience today at a "Rally experience" day today. Firstly it was a pressy from the missus from last Xmas and the option was Rally , single seater, saloon car, and odd Kart like things. The venues are all different and when I booked it a few weeks ago I thought hey weather is bound to be rubbish so went for the rally option, you know lots of rough surfaces, gravel, dirt, whatever. Surprised I was then to find a section of flat dry tarmac ( old airstrip) with a number of lorry tyres arranged to make a circuit!! Disapointing to say the least! hey ho I thought get on with it, briefing, overalls, helmet…
