OK guys, sorry in advance if this has already been done! I bought Jeremy Clarksons Hot Metal DVD yesterday and he starts off with a shootout with Z's. His point of this DVD is to show how even todays sports cars are not really that much faster or in some cases even slower than that of flash metal gone by. So he's got a couple of Z32's, 260's, 240's etc. up against...you guessed it...350Z. Well we know that the Z32 can trounce it but what amazed me is that the 260Z nearly cained it aswell! PMSL :D Most entertaining I must say. Was also a buzz watching the Jaguar XJ220 muller a Pagani Zonda in a straight line aswell.

Having Being brought up with 0-60 times rammed down my throat, I cant get away from this way of thinking and at the end of the day when your sat at the lights and some nodding guy points at you and then the road ahead 1/4 miles dont come into it (i'm childish ok!). With intake, exhaust and chip/boost mods I am told a 300 can achieve approx 400BHP, my personal estimate is probably 360BHP, But stand waiting to be corrected, obviously 0-60 times have the big gear change in the middle so it is hard to improve this figure dramaticaly. So to get to the question can anyone tell me with the above mods what would you estimate as a 0-60 time. Thanks

Christmas is coming up fast! Got that work or family :duffer:  celebration  :duffer: to plan?! Presenting... Y Not ... a six-piece cover band (in which I'm on keyboard). We have a set-list combining soul, funk and R&B (traditional). We can also provide a disco to cover all your party needs! On my personal website I have some short audio clips from one of our recent gigs; go to http://homepage.ntlworld.com/mawglobal/ click "Music" then "Band". But don't ask me how good we are! Ask MTL for an unbiased opinion- we played at his sister's wedding a few weeks back. :hyper: For more information on booking and availability, p…

Yesterday afternoon I helped a friend pick up his new ride from the dealer - an Aston Martin DB9 (!) We went in his X5 and I drove it back to his lair in the Cotswolds. OMG! This has got to be the best 4x4 I've ever driven. 360bhp, the ultimate in gadgets, oodles of grip and torque, crisp handling, good looks, massive 22" Kahn alloys, lovely V8 exhaust note ... dare I say it, I enjoyed driving the Beemer more than I do my Zed  If it wasn't for the price (this one cost him a shade under £70k two months ago) I'd go out and buy me one today - it's that good. Alas, my money tree died a few months ago and now have to resort to printing my own (just in case the old bill…
