I am in the process of trying to organise a christmas raffle for the club. http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=41173 The idea is to sell tickets to subscribed members at £2 each. Members can buy as many tickets as they want. Anyway, to get this off the ground i need some good prizes for the raffle. All traders have been contacted and some very generous members have offered to donate some items. If you have anything you could donate please let me know!! It would be HUGELY appreciated. I will let you know when the raffle is ready to get going and when tickets are on sale. Scott (could one of the mods please make this sticky. Cheers :coo…

I need a bit of help from you IT/networking guys here please. At work we have ADSL broadband. Our current setup is my PC has a PCI adsl modem, then our other PC is linked in with 10/100 NIC. Both PC's run XP pro and I use that to do home/office networking. Time for an upgrade i thought. So i get a router/adsl modem. http://s4.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=9411D092C757FAC7700DDA20DC2631A9 That is the link to the manual for it. It is the 4 port and + model. The problem I am having is i cannot get it to dial out and connect. It tries to, but fails every time. I can access it using ip 10.0.0.2 no problem. I am wondering what is the correct configurat…

Do not break the chain something terrible could happen to you, This is a decent chain letter as opposed to normal chain letters/pyramid schemes, this one costs nothing, and you can only win. Simply send this e-mail to 9 of your mates. INSTRUCTIONS. Anaesthetize your wife or girlfriend, put her in a large carton, don't forget some ventilation holes), and send it to the person who is at the top of your list, Then cross that name off and add your name to the bottom of the list. Soon, your name will be at the top of the list, and you will receive 823,542 women through the post. Statistically, among those women, will be at least: 0.5 Miss Worlds 2…

Hardly high tech, fella next door has got himself one of those silly little toy motorbikes. Only prob is the fecker wont go! Its pretty much a lawnmower engine on it so fairly simple. Starts and runs ok but a big fat 0 torque, lifting up the rear wheel and open the throttle wheel spins fine, can also run down the road by the side of it and it shoots off. sit on it, and no go, will strain and stall if you open the throttle too far. Done all the basics, fuel/oil mix is fine, primed it, fuel is turned on and can be seen in the fuel line. any ideas? its brand spanking so nothing should be worn out on it..... Cheers

Let's face it English is a stupid language. There is no egg in the eggplant No ham in the hamburger And neither pine nor apple in the pineapple. English muffins were not invented in England French fries were not invented in France. We sometimes take English for granted But if we examine its paradoxes we find that Quicksand takes you down slowly Boxing rings are square And a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig. If writers write, how come fingers don't fing? If the plural of tooth is teeth Shouldn't the plural of phone booth be phone beeth? If the teacher taught, Why didn't the preacher praught? If a vegetarian eats vege…

Normally dont have any problems geting onto the site when logged on at work, despite the gestapo IT police we have. However, last 2 days when I flick the club up outta my favourites it just says:- database repairing WTF this all about then? Cleared out all the crap and cookies and stuff, no change. Typed it in manually, no change. Ask someone else to type it in, they access it straight away. Whats going on? Any ideas? Nick

We dyno my brothers car yesterday and we manage at 1.3bar to get 526rwhp and 464tq. Also at 0.69Bar we did 346rwhp and 340tq. We couldnt raise the boost more than 1.3Bar because it didnt want to hold the pressure. I think that the wastegates springs needs to be replaced. I think that at 1.5bar we could get an additional 50rwhp. Let me tell you that we did NO tuning, NO timing adjustments, NO Nitrous. Basically we took the car to the dyno, switch the boost controller on and we got that numbers. Very impressive. The mods on the car are: 1. Greddy TD-05 kit 16G 2. Greddy FMIC 2 ROW 3. Nismo 555cc 4. JWT ECU tuned for twin intake and 555 5. Twi…
