Just fitted some Philips Superwhites to my Zed and now I can see!!! :D Dont have to light the candles on the bonnet anymore! LOL! I know they arent the best replacement bulbs out there but they'll do till I fit some HIDs next year. Only a tenner each and so much better than the original ones. Needed to adjust the beam, much higher now.... Til mu MOT next week though!

This run is at 1.3 Bar with the manual boost controller (thats why spool is a bit slow) on stock Engine with the following mods. NO Tuning, NO timing adjustments (17 degrees timing), NO Nitrous, NO chilling the intercooler. Just Boost. We wanted to use Nitrous but since the wastegates didnt want to hold more than 1.3Bar of Boost we apandoned the idea. [1.] Greddy TD-05 -16G kit [2.] Nismo 555cc injectors [3.] Greddy 2 ROW FMIC [4.] UR Crank Pulley [5.] Custom Radiator [6.] JWT ECU tuned for 555's and twin intake [7.] Custom Twin Intake [8] Tomei 1.2mm head gaskets Couple of pics of the car.

I'm looking at getting a 300 but have never owned one, but I have a friend who's got a Skyline GTS to sell for his mate. It's a 93 GTS but GTR spec only single turbo. He's looking for £5500, it just had new turbo, its got dump valve, boost controller and huge intercooler. I'm now in a quandry as to what to go for. As 300 drivers what would people reccomend as the best car to go for. I've had insurance quotes and they're both pretty much the same. Any advice will be much appreciated

A friend and colleague was killed this morning in a road accident. The whole day has just been surreal. I've seen several grown men cry and the women... they really let go. I've blinked back a few tears myself too, more than once. I'm not looking for sympathy but if anything good can come out of it, everyone should remember to be careful, especially on slippery roads. I love bikes and cars but it's been pretty sobering. I'll keep riding bikes and enjoying my Z but things will never be the same again. We lost a really top guy. :(

My Uncle is arranging a charity event at Knockhill on the 5th December. The nominated charity this year is St Andrews Hospice in Airdrie. Graham Wait was the the 2001 BRSCC modified Ford Saloon Champion and along with 7 other drivers in his class, they are giving people the chance to go 2 laps round the circuit. The cost is £10 per person and all proceeds go to charity. Amongst the cars available on the day is Graham's championship winning Sierra Cosworth, a 500bhp rear wheel drive Escort, a Mark 2 Escort with 300bhp, an Andy Rouse ex touring car and a Porsche GT3. The drivers are giving up their spare time and covering all other costs. Last year the…

The modem reset itself last night and I suspected that it was Blueyonder doing the upgrades. I tried 3 broadband speed test sites, one said I had a 1Mb connection one said 1.3 and the other 1.4. I actually struggled to find a download site where I could get a file to test it. I got one in the end and got download speeds of close. I downloaded Adobe at 240Kb/s which means it has been upgraded :D But after struggling to find a download which would put the connection to its full speed, is having fast internet really worth it for 95% of the time, considering most downloads wont send it to you that fast, and in many cases you will need 4 or 5 downloads at o…

Hi Our current estate for lugging the baby buggy etc round with is a Vectra 140SRi but I'm looking to sell this and buy a different estate car. But although it has FVSH the mileage is now over 140k so I want something with less. It needs to be cheap :D £2-3k'ish and not dreadfully slow :nono: Something like the Vectra I guess, stiff suspension and a bit of grunt. The quick search on the net has thrown up the Mondeo ST24 Estate as an idea but these are rare. Subaru Legacy - anyone driven/owned one? What others have people had bad/good experience with? :hyper: Cheers  Pete
