Put the wifes Volvo V40 Estate on autotrader late last night. Already today I've had 2 phonecalls from cardata and some other advertising company and one email from some other crap company  :headvswal WTF would I want to pay another company for advertising when I've just put it in the autotrader?? This cardata bunch of tw4ts... £70odd for a sale "guaranteed", we have people looking for your car etc :xxx: Yeah right  Where do they advertise then? I personally have never seen them advertising cars for sale so why would I pay to advertise through them??? Grr! Pete

Well, since I got the car anyway, fitted some clear side repeaters from Zcentre, only the rears left to go now, and I'll be orange free! Think I'm going to try the cheaper way, did a search on the forum and found some interesting results with using some clear plastic stuff, and replacing just that part, rather than the whole light panel at the back, my wife isn't too sure about putting our rear lights in the oven though...

imagine this.........a revamp of insurance system.......to start with, everyone pays a few hundred quid in the first year which goes into a pot. The following year, non-one pays anyhting until they have a claim...money comes out of pot and then they have to start paying say £300 or something....if they go a year without a bump, it goes down to £250, and on and on until they are paying nowt if they never have a bump again. Any problems with this ? Surely it's fairer, as currently a safe fast car driver can get penalised against a dangerous Renault Clio driver for instance. AND, if you never have a claim, you still have to pay - not fair !! (note- can't make comparison…

and while we're on chemistry, did you know that if it wasn't for the covalent nature of carbon-carbon and carbon-hydrogen bonds, we'd dissolve every time we farted in the bath?
