Just found out to my surprise that there are 4 more ways of adjusting my drivers seat! I was just adjusting my seat forward a little and felt the switch had some play in it left and right, pushed it a little harder and found it has four way adjustment on each switch! This is extremely cool for me, as I could never see the top 1/3 of my dash ie. couldn't see the indicator lights, the top part of the speedo, all sorts! I thought how daft it was that the steering had no adjustment, now after playing around with it I feel like I'm in a bloody F1 car! My arse is on the road, I can see the dash (although I can't see the bonnet... lol) feels much better, and blow me if it doesn'…

John, a while back you were on about getting an LM1 WB02 kit, did you get it logged on your profec? And if so, have you got it plotted against RPM or is it just over time? I take it the 0-5v output from the LM1 is linear, otherwise it will read *****cks on the profec

Click here to view, or right click save as There is not much of MACs car, the camera was stuggling to focus in the low light and all I could get was his engine bay which is well documented anyway. Maybe next time when its run in I can get some footage of it moving. :D The vid is about 14.5mb and about 4 mins long The vid is not very good. Not as many cars as usual turned up and this is a half arsed attempt at making at vid.

Took my Zed over to a mates garage on Tuesday to start on (possibly!) the final set of body mods before the respray. His dad, Mike, has always been into restoring cars and as he’s just taken early retirement he’s looking for projects to keep him occupied. So, I decided to forget using a bodyshop for the remaining bits and instead work with him and kill two birds with one stone! After removing the spoiler on Tuesday and sussing out what stuff we needed, we got to work in earnest yesterday. We’d decided to chuck caution to the wind and go completely DIY on the tailgate, choosing to forgoe the normal routes of the Perspex panel or tailgate skin (which leaves a “lip” to …

Hi, My 89 Jap Import is fitted with a purple coloured window film on the tailgate and 2 rear quarter light windows. How easy is it to come off ??? Or how hard ?? Would reckon it might be easier to remove the tailgate and do it on a flat surface. ??? Dont want to scrape it with the fear of damaging the heater wires, Any chemicals ?? Thinners, or is it the old hairdryer ?? Pretty certain there was a post on this before. Any help or past experiences will be most welcome. :) Alan......

Having just returned from Norway I had a big pile of mail to open. In it was a letter form my insurance company saying i needed to pay an admin charge of £90 with in 7 days. As I wasnt in the UK to receive the letter or pay the money, they've cancelled my insurance. So I've now lost £1000 over a petty 90 quid. They wont re-instate my insurance, just keep trying to refer my to the 'quotation team' This is through no fault of my own or theirs, I'm just highly p***ed off :headvswal Where do I stand with claiming some or all of my money back??? And advice will be much appreciated Andrew

Arrived back this morning from 5 weeks in the coldest place I've ever known! Coldest it went down to was -48 C on the top of a mountain. its so cold that it you spill a hot drink, its frozen before its run to the bottom of the mug  The helicopter dispersal next to the runway was like an icerink. 1x Landrover with studded tires equals hours of drifting fun!!!  Glad to be back though... Spent the whole day driving my Zed, been looking forward to that for a long time!

In my on-going quest to smooth over every part of the bodywork that is possible to smooth over I'd ideally like to get rid of the external aerial and replace it with either a more discreet external one (ie one that runs up a side of my tinted rear window) or preferably an internal one (if they even exist!). I know that this is a bit obscure but does anyone know if there are any Zed compatible aftermarket aerials out there that fullfill these requirements?(not digital as I'm trying to keep the cost down! ;))? Cheers, Leigh
