Now he's dead, they're making a film of Eddie Stobart's life. I've just seen the trailer. The cost of living has now got so bad that my wife is having sex with me because she can't afford batteries! Paddy bursts into the Benefits office. “I've been ringing 08001730 for 2 bloody days. Why don't you answer the bloody phone?” Girl behind the counter points out those are…

It was a very sad goodbye to our lovely Lexus GS300 yesterday. 7 months & she never missed a beat. Cost of fuelling a 3l auto was beginning to cripple us tho so we part exed her for an IS 200. Still a 2l but a manual & more importantly the insurance is about a third cheaper which was another major cost factor sadly. Will upload some pics when I've had a chance to make her shiny (if it ever stops raining!) Hope everyone is well :)

On petrol cars an exhaust gas analyser can be used in the header tank to detect a blown head gasket pushing combustion gases into the cooling system. Does anyone know for definite if the same is applicable for diesel engines? Cheers

Many of you know or don't I maintain IT wise a fairly large call centre in my home town as my main job. our technology is fairly top spec and all our calls actually come in from a high speed internet leased line. These calls use a technology called sip and depend on the high speed line to work ! So today my bad luck started and I made a huge fook up that caused major downtime of the full centre. It all started when my assistant and I were trying to cable pull some standard catv network cable through a floor space that wasn't bairly 1ft high. when trying to find out how to pull the cables we discovered that our main leased line had an extra 20 or so…

http://www.aramex.com/news/item.aspx?id=73bc17b3-2507-4471-bfdb-7e95591d17a6 I sold something on ebay, and i noticed the address of the buyer was listed. I googled it and got this ^^^^^^. Also, when i went to send a message, its said the buyer was using a different ebay so may not speak english. I have nothing against international buyers, and had good experience with them, just find it a bit odd as ive had no contact from the buyer to ask any questions before he hit buy it now.

Just to cheer you all up, lol - the engine management light came on the IS on the way home from work yesterday. Car didn't seem any different and is still running fine. Took it into Lexus Teesside who rang a diagnostic & said it looks like the cat is fubar'd (bloody marvellous) and that would be £1000 to fix. I paid peanuts for the car really so am not overly bothered, but I am categorically not spending anything like that on it. I've looked on the Bay and there are loads of cats on there, varying prices eg http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-IS200-Mk1-2-0-Main-Catalytic-Converter-CAT-/261048023281?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cc7acb8f1 or http://w…
