I have been a member of this forum for just over a month. I have had my up's and down's but to be really honest I enjoy my daily visits here. I seem to be making a few mates along the way too. The question I want to ask is why are some of you guys, (after a couple of years with some of you) still only registered and not subscribed? It makes sense surely to give your support and pay up. It cant be easy to run a site of this calibre? I wasn't even here for a day and I paid my dues..... If by any means I have got the whole thing wrong or something I appologise? Thats it folks....................

Update... Well guys, thsi weekend I toped her up with the finest fluids. Fitted the apexi BOV's (Thanks AlexC) and Apexi PPI(Thanks Danny) and after a bit of coughing and spluttering she finally started up on the third attempt. :hyper: :hyper: The noise was incredible what with having no centre section and the new de-cat pipes on!!! I dont think the cars running right though, although I couldnt tell due to the racket the pipes were making. My conzult hasnt arrived yet but should do this week (I hope) so that I can find out whats happening with the engine. By the sounds that I could make out, the injectors are all working fine (Nismo 555's) but I co…

My wifes Citroen Xantia TD 1.9 has started to really struggle when starting and when you finally get it started she briefly chucks out a massive smoke cloud. I know this is normally due to an air filter needing changing but i did this last month along with an oil change. Would this be the injectors or glow plugs needing replacing? Is this an easy job? Cheers Marcus

Each night when I go to work I travel to Luton from Bedford on the A6 to pick my workmate up. Each night I get the same bloody thing. A race. A race to see who can go the fookin slowest? I cant believe some motorists. They drive at 35-40 MPH on a 60 MPH road. Surley Im not the only one who gets pi55ed off by this? :smash:

Right, for all of you that requested a copy of the DVD I've managed to compile, they are ready for posting tomorrow and should go off sometime in the morning. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=50234 Thank you to the 17 of you that requested it, and paid up straight away. As I've already said, any profit from this will go to charity. Anybody else (subscribed) that would like a copy, just send me a PM, and I'll sort it out with you. I hope you all enjoy it :D

Strange question. I'm customising the dash, and I've been thinking about what to do with the speedo / rpm gauges. I had the idea (which should be fairly cheap to implement) to relocate them to the boot and replace them with screens. With a direct camera feed (from a composite camera) it should be easy enough to use composite screens with the casings removed and fabricated in (though the lighting might be tricky to set up to get a dark black background with no reflections, it would certainly mean no delay in startup!). If the USB card turns out to be fast enough for real-time display I'd like to go ahead with this, however with either the camera > screen or pulse measur…

hello people, just a quick word of warning. A few months ago I bought a zed of e-bay (stupid I know). Paid too much for it as well. A few months later my car is not running any more. The same guy I bought the car from is selling another one on e-bay. Funny thing is the car looks exactly the same as mine except for the coulour. Same body kit, seats etc. He is even using the same description he used when he sold mine. It is the car with the highest price at the moment, a black zed in Newcastle. He still owes me a cd player. Just thought I let you know if any one thought of bidding on it. It's probably a heap of shyte!!!

We was driving around on saturday showing off the zed and saw a red escort behind us. We decided to play with it as you do haha. The road started to clear so we put our foot down expecting to see this escort disappear into the distance behind us but he was having none of it, he kept up!!!! We couldnt believe it so we pushed the car abit more and he still kept up!! Obviously we couldnt have this so the foot went down again and we finally got this escort off our ass Now what the hell has he done to his car for it to keep up???? We cant ruin the zed reputation by having an escort keeping up
