My girlfriend's got XP on her notebook, but while I'm computer literate I'm still using 98 on my PC and I don't know a huge amount about XP. Basically the FAT seems to be completely corrupt- XP itself won't load whatsoever, and when I put my 98 boot floppy in it says that there is no valid FAT on C:  Running off the 98 boot floppy, the hard disk simply doesn't exist, but it's present in the BIOS setup. Now I'm assuming this will be terminal, but if anyone knows of any tricks that could help get it back up and running, if only to back up her contacts to USB drive, then I'll be forever grateful!!! Cheers Mark

I recently fitted a nrw water pump, rad cap, thermostate and timing belt kit to my tt and since doing that my expansion tank is filing with water and dripping onto the floor. Change the rad cap again but no joy, the top hose is hard so there is preasure, is it possible the thermostate is causing the system to over preasure, any help would be great thanks.

Guys forget all your engine mods. If you truly want to make the car awsome get the suspention changed and have it dialed in and each coarner weighed. As some of you know Ive had a complete new suspention setup added to the car, adjustable everything. Today I took it to LEDA SUspention LTD in Braintree Essex (Awsome people folks) and had the cars geometry set prophesionaly with corner weights done and dialed to make each tyre the same. How much you ask? £157. How good. Well it was a rather harder ride on the way down, nothing seemed out of place but not realy much of a difference. On the way Home.... Am I in the right car, this isnt my car, G-EEEEEZUS, Wow, OMG. Hey…

Well I drove my little beauty yesterday after nearly 2 years and she goes very well. Handling has been transformed, but I've got to run her in before I can find out how much better she'll go. Still loads of crappy little jobs to get sorted and the list of things that haven't been done that have supposed to have been done and lots butchery that has to be put right. That bit pi55es me off because before I embarked on getting her sorted she was a very staight and clean car and now its going to take months to get her back to that sort of state, but prettier if you know what I mean. The main thing is we're back in business at last :nana2: :nana2: :D :D

I REALLY REALLY REALLY hate it on pimp my ride when the dumb ass *******s are shown their 'pimped' car. Why why why do they have to do that stoooooooopid hand up to the mouth and point to act soooo suprised... Women usually cover their mouth with an open hand but if youre a bloke it has to be a clenched fist and you have to kind of lean backwards and point and make gay noises at the same time....aaaarrrrggggggggggggggggggggggg overacting stoooopind ****ers i hate them... i hate them alllllll...... Ahem.. rant over.
