Mr D , can i take advantage of your model car skills please, My son has a hobaio hyper 7 .28 TQ nitro, the bloody thing is really driving us mad to the point that we are thinking about swapping it for an electric car, reason is it keeps cutting out even when warm and is generally unreliable , because of this it has hardly been used , would you be able to tune it / set it up for us , if so what would the cost be pls , if possible i would love to have to brakes set up as well as it currently has erm none . along with a good general check over and service. it does have uprated servos and a few other bits . oh we use a good quality fuel as well let me know …

Whatever happened to him and his zed? I used to love readin up about it, then I read he was selling it not long after finishing it. Did it sell? I can remember him saying he spent over £50k on it, I doubt he got near that back for it! Hope he never broke it although that engine in Car Mad's car would be my dream zed!

Well, It's actually got nothing to do with Zs per se but for some unknown reason, over the years, the people who have done work for my company whether project, part time or full-time have been better value and done a better job than "normal" recruitment. No idea why but there you go. (And some of you know who you are :) Ta  ) So now, since we could well have a couple of posts coming up in north London by the end of the summer, I thought I'd inviite any 300ZX forum member who might be interested to bung me off a PM or even a CV. Not vastly over-paid (I wish) but anyone who thinks they can process sales orders, deal with customers and dealers on the phone/b…

What a difference a week makes, the sun came with blue skys and a super weekend, not one to let the grass grow , we cracked open the party mood, got the bouncey castle up, a couple of gazebos to house the drink and music and invited 40 odd family and friends, what a day, we had an old fashioned street party theme with sandwiches with the crusts cut off, cream teas, jelly and ice cream, strawberries, and the odd drink or too!! Was a hot relaxed day and a barmy evening with the final guests leaving as it got dark having watched the sunset over the fields it was magical, reminded me of days when I was a kid when simple things just seemed more fun!! …

I'm going to list some stuff on ebay for a few days but if it doesn't sell I don't want it lying around so was just going to scrap it (this is not a for sale thread so no offers on parts please). Anybody know how much I could expect from scrappy for this lot? I'm sure somebody posted the other day to say they got 60-70 quid for a set of cats and I was shocked to hear it was as high as that. full exhaust brake discs brake calipers couple of steel wheels and couple of batteries steering rack hicas rack front and rear upper and lower arms and tension rods Any rough idea?

Onslow has been my avatar for a few years now, I chose it because Geoffrey Hughes has made me laugh for many years, right back to his days as Eddie Yates in Corrie. Loved the Onslow character but my personal favourite was when Twiggy and Jim Royal scrapping the wall paper to Mambo #5. Oh yeah, my wife tends to call me Onslow....cant think why?
